Lazy D&D RV Resort reviews
16Well cared for park. Friendly, great staff. On site washateria. Easy on/off to the beach. Great location.
Fun place.close to the beach and our neighbors were bulls and cows. Most definitely would recommend
Beautiful place for peace
The RV resort was great and had lots of amenities. A couple of things we suggest is placing the dumpster in the back of the park and removing the skunk. LOL
This was our first time there but it won’t be our last! The resort is very clean and quiet. When we first got there it was after hours and we knew that where they had put us wasn’t going to work (we had our 2 Standard Poodles with us and the rv beside us had a cat outside) so we pulled around to the front and found an empty spot. We called the after hours phone #, explained the situation and they let us take the spot that we had picked out without hesitation. It has a pool and a playground that looked really nice and clean but we didn’t have time to enjoy either. We will be back before the summer is over!
There is dope heads in that RV park I wouldn't recommend living here if you have kids and or recovering addict
Great views, awesome pool, nice playground, and the people are very friendly! Plus, there's laundry, showers, and bathrooms!
Wonderful people and awesome place! Nice pool, playground for the kids, laundry, and nice bathroom / showers!
Great family fun and the owner (David) did a great job in leaving space to run around and have fun
We reserved a spot for the weekend. A few days before the trip a storm formed up and pushed rain into the area. I called and asked if we could move or get cresit for another weekend. I was told no and that I would be charge# anyway. The morning we were supposed to go I was called and told I was on their "blacklist" although check in was at 1: 00 p.m. I woouldn't go here if I could.
For the price- Super nice staff, big clean bathouse with toilet. Nice pool that was open for us in January. Landscaping was quite nice. Great playground and hammocks. Full hookups and a lot of really nice people camping here.
Drawback is your a full mile from beach access. We were on foot, so that was a bummer but we made it work. There are also no grills, but there are picnic tables.
Update: We planned to be here 2-3 weeks while sorting out a few problems in our camper. We've enjoyed the stay so much we are now entering our 6th week here! The Texas beach in January and February isn't Miami Beach, it's foggy and humid, but the nice days are amazing and the Crystal Beach community is so wonderful. We made some great friends and have enjoyed our time on the beach!
This place has all the amenities anyone could need, including electricity, sewage, water a place to park your RV or motorhome. Everyone was real friendly and spoke good english
Very friendly RV park. You can fish in the canal that is in the middle of the property. Very quiet.has a pool and a playground for the kids.
The good - Pool, laundry, showers, level spaces, full hook ups, comparable pricing to the other RV parks in town.
The Bad - Place is a mud pit with lots of holes in the road way. When it rains your site will become a swamp and so will the roads. They are on the bay side, have to cross the highway and go a mile east to access the beach.
If you are coming to this area to enjoy the beach, look into a beach side RV park. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and your neighbors will leave you along, this is your place.
Very nice resort. They were gracious enough to have a bbq cook-off for a charity event. Please try them out.
I'm about to give straight up

Clean, well maintained park with lovely staff. Friendliest park I have been at in a very long time. Laundry room has plenty of washer/dryers and inexpensive. Cell reception was great as I was working and needed my computer. No cable but plenty of channels on antenna. Spaces are large and not on top of each other. Very Dog Friendly. Close to beach, restaurants and grocery. The only thing they could improve would be the lack of shower/restroom facilities -they have (1) for men and (1) for women. The water pressure for the womens shower was horrible! Other than that I would highly recommend and return in again in the future!
