The practice was A-1 oh. And especially Dr. Morehead. He was thoughtful, informed, and balanced. Gave great answers to questions I had. Very impressed.

Was able to do a walk in to have my Dog looked at, they got me in asap and the staff was very welcoming and took care of my baby!

I've been taking my cats here for about a year and a half now. Leander Vet Clinic is great. They are all truly wonderful people who truly care about your fur baby. 10/10 recommend this office.

0 / 5 Stars: if you are looking for a compassionate vet please DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE. I was shocked and disgusted with not only the doctors, but the staff as well - I brought my dog into this vet clinic for an analysis of what was wrong. After a brief examination Dr Moorehead didn't even have the decency to pull me into a private room to deliver the news of a BRAIN TUMOR, and instead decided letting me know in the lobby in front of other customers was appropriate. After delivering the news, he also made a heartless remark "Oh and by the way, thats another tumor on your dogs leg" as he turned and coldly walked away. Absolutely heartless. As I cried in front of the entire lobby, I was consoled by other customers as the staff awkwardly ignored me. My poor dog could barely walk, I was an absolute mess of the news and no one seemed to care. If that wasn't bad enough, my dog desperately needed and MRI which I couldn't get without the DR's recommendation. I had to call for 2 days to get the staff to get this recommendation - 2 days could've saved my dog's life, or at least given him a chance for surgery but they couldn't find the time, and were rude every time I called. The whole experience was the worst I have ever seen in a vet. No compassion or care and was completely disgusted by every single person working here. DO NOT GO TO LEANDER VET CLINIC.

Love love love Dr. Whitehill. Everyone including the front staff, the vet.assistants, and the Vets are excellent. Trust their wisdom and experience taking care of our 2 cats.

I have pets with special needs. Never once have I been made to feel like my pet’s problem wasn’t urgent. Each Dr that I have encountered, pretty much all of them, have been compassionate, patient, and provided me with helpful information on the best ways to care for each pet’s special needs. I’ve been a customer since moving to Texas 9 years ago: I’ve watched the practice grow and I’m never dissatisfied.

So grateful for the walk in option and the excellent care my pet received. No wonder they have so many great reviews. That's why I chose them. Thank you Leander Veterinarian team! Great job!

Went to Leander Vet clinic because my vet couldn’t get me in on Friday. Absolutely thrilled with the service and Dr Larry came out and was so attentive to communication even though it was very busy! He called next day personally to follow up on a Saturday! Then they called again Monday as I didn’t answe mr saturday! They just earned my business long term! Thank you for taking care of my sweet George!

Dr. Morehead at Leander Veterinary Clinic has cared for my many pets (cats and dogs, over about 3 decades) for years. He gives the very best of care to my much loved pets - and gives you all the options for their care. He has seen us through some very difficult situations with the obvious compassion and concern for my fur babies. The staff mirrors his high standards and care as well. These are all great reasons we keep coming back to him. I know my pets receive the very best of care from him and the staff. I have recommended him and Leander Veterinary Clinic to friends and family, and I make that same recommendation to anyone who wants their pet to receive the best of care. They truly care about the animals in their care there.

Everyone at LVC is awesome! I want to especially thank Dr Morehead for his expertise in TTA surgery. My Eddie needed back to back CCL repair surgeries and is now back to walking normally. Eddie loves going to see all the happy faces at LVC even after all his drop off appointments, sedations, etc which I think says so much about how the staff cares for him!

We moved to the area a little over a year & a half ago and have had great experiences with our 2 pups being treated at Leander Veterinary Clinic. The new location is so beautiful, clean & spacious and the staff has always been wonderful and highly responsive and knowledgeable

The clinic was extremely clean, brand new, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. This was my first time and my pet was taken care of with the upmost of care!

Always incredible service. Staff is so friendly and personable. Dr. Whitehill is MVP and have been seeing only him for my pups since 2018. I don't bring my pups anywhere or to anyone else. Dr. Whitehill had an emergency surgery, but was still available afterwards to biopsy an area on my pup's lip. Dr. Whitehill is a superhero. The entire office is incredible. Thank you for always being available and for all that you do.

Our precious dog needed oral surgery and teeth cleaning. They removed the broken bits and another tooth that was about to go bad. He came home full of pep and with a sparkling smile. Thank you for your care and kindness.

Leander Veterinary Clinic has helped us many times with a variety of emergency situations. From sick dogs to the passing of one our animals. Very compassionate and caring.

So happy I found this place! Staff is friendly and caring. I have a disabled 150lb dog that they have to carry in on a gurney (special shoutout to Dahlia, she is always there to help carry him in).
They are not pushy, are upfront with the cost and will work with you to help save you money where they can. They are also very affordable. They also have a rewards program to earn points and it saves you money on future visits, meds, food ect.
I highly recommend this clinic!

Was visiting from out of town when my Frenchie got hurt. I checked with five vet clinics in Austin however Winston's injury was deemed a non-emergency so nobody could see him due to max capacity. One clinic referred me to Leander Veterinary Clinic and advised they accepted walk-ins. Took the short drive to Leander and was able to get Winston evaluated in about an hour even though they were busy. Staff were very pleasant and professional.
Definitely recommending this clinic.
