I highly recommend The Leather Hospital for your leather repair and replacement needs. I purchased a custom made couch from The Luxury of Leather approximately 15 years ago and the leather and support had naturally worn over time. My husband and I searched high and low for another leather couch to replace our old one, but we couldn’t find one that we liked as much as our old couch. We finally decided that we were willing to invest in having our old leather couch redone and that’s when we found The Leather Hospital.

WOW! They have best customer service, the greatest attention to detail, and they are the most honest people around.

I received an at-home consultation to discuss all that I wanted to have repaired and they took my couch with them that same day. When my couch was returned I was over the moon! I felt more excited than if I would have purchased a new couch that I knew I wasn’t going to love as much as my old couch. Now I have my new-old couch and it is PERFECT! The detail in the stitching, the quality of the leather, and the reconstruction of the support is top-notch!

Do not bother looking anywhere else. Their prices are fair and their service is superior! I will never consider going anywhere else again.

Mr. Herman does great leather repair work. They had repaired my Dooney and Bourke purse. You can't even tell it was repaired and he charges so inexpensive, so reasonable! It is a shame not to go to this repair shop. The craftsmanship he does on interior for your automobile is beautiful also!

Brought my favorite leather jacket to Herman for cleaning and conditioning. The jacket looks and smells like new! Price was good and work completed as scheduled. Will definitely bring my other leather items to Herman in the future.

Herman did a magnificent job on my handmade Italian duffle bag! One of the handles was scuffed badly during travel, and Herman found a perfect match for the leather to replace both the handles! It looks brand new. He went above and beyond to replace the soles on a pair of my shoes and fix my belt! Highly recommend!

Herman reupholstered our two chairs and created 3 leather pillows for us. He was the perfect version of a small business owner, friendly and capable. The quote was competitive and the work was done earlier than promised. The quality of the work was excellent and we are very satisfied. We will happily use this business again in the future.

Herman did a fantastic job repairing my vintage patchwork leather jacket.
The materials, stitching, and color matching were top notch. He even went above and beyond, repairing the liner and collar for free! (even after i haggled the price!) I couldn't recommend Leather Hospital enough.

I took a 26 year old navy flight jacket in to replace the wool collar and liner and the quote I got was on par with what I thought was fair for the amount of work involved. I was quoted two weeks and it was completed in 4 days. The only issue I have is my spare time during the week is extremely limited (the curse of working retail) and I had difficulty finding a time when he would be in for drop off/pick up of my jacket. That's an issue with my time more than his though.

I took Herman a vintage Peter Jon leather jacket I have owned since 1980. It had tears in the back and sleeves. Herman is a true artisan! Even though it was impossible to perfectly match the leather pattern - what he did for it is amazing. The jacket is beautiful and looks perfect. There is nothing about it that looks "repaired" What he gave me back I cannot say enough good things about. I could not be happier. Herman is everything the reviews shouts about and more. He repaired my husbands King Ranch jacket in a day. Our dog chewed the cuff of the sleeve and we thought it was ruined. Not so! It is good as new. I would highly recommend the Leather Hospital. Next time I’m bringing my sofa that the same furry friend damaged.

Hernan is a true craftsman first and foremost, second he is passionate about customer service and goes out of his way to help you with your project no matter how small. Case in point I have a pair of German Lederhosen that needed alteration, help no one in the DFW alters leather clothes, then comes Hernan to the rescue.
