Lee's Garden Chinese Restaurant, San Antonio TX

Orange chicken listed as spicy. It's neither orange flavor nor spicy. The included egg roll skin was way overcooked and contents wasn't even warm. Portions are large. Will not return, sorry!

I tried to place a delivery order multiple times online. Their online ordering would not work. I called the restaurant and was told the manager handles the online orders and they would call me back. I never received a call back. I tried to order again at dinner time and had the same issue. Again was told the manager would call me back. - Obviously this company does not want my business so I will order from someone else.

Food was bad.
Service was bad. You order at the front.
It was empty. There was one light. Tables were dirty.
Styrofoam plates, cups, and plastic utensils.
Did not feel like a restaurant.
I am still processing what a strange experience it was.

Food was nasty. Had a terrible smell and leaked all over the bag. Rangoons were nearly empty and the taste was bad. Never ordering from here again. By far my worst experience at any restaurant. And this is why i dont try new things.

Lee’s Garden USED TO be our go to place for lunch or dinner to dine in and/or to go OR delivery. I don’t know what happened to this place but it has gone down. We decided to eat there after a long while since the dining room had been closed because of Covid. We walk in and the cashier told us we needed to order at the counter before we can sit down. Ok, we give our order, but the same guy was also the “chef” as well as the waiter. He did warn us that the food will be served on “to go” plates, however it was just a paper plate with our egg rolls and crab Rangoon. There’s no longer a choice of egg drop or sweet and sour soup served with our meal. And one meal alone used to be enough to feed two especially if it were a diner order, that no longer exists. Each member of my family had the same complaint about the food, the rice was either stale and the so called chicken was tough as rubber, it even looked rubbery and soggy. The moral of this story, Lee’s Garden is no longer a restaurant. I would’ve much rather gone to McDonald’s next door and eaten a fake beef burger. Such a shame. My husband and I were so disappointed. Too bad we can’t get our $48 back. I also get the feeling that they want to close the place down or they’re just trying to make ends meet because there’s a couple of cabinets full of Asian Knick knacks and they all have price tags if you want to buy them. That’s not inviting to see as soon as you walk in hoping to enjoy a nice meal.

Very reasonably priced for large portions. Absolutely worth the money for good quality food.

I'm sad I'm moving.
I tend to find hidden gems before I can truly enjoy them.

The hot and sour soup is the best. The food is always good and hot. I being a customer for a few years. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed.

Longtime asian food establishment here off Wurzbach/Babcock in the corner of the strip center. Good clean food with nice size servings on most dishes. No dine yet as of March 2021 but they processed my togo order fairly quick for me walking in and not pre-orderibg like they advise. Constant flow of customers coming in and out. They'll provide delivery within certain distances so ask if they come to your area. Give them a try

If I could leave zero stars I would. I was right in the middle of taking a bite of my food and there was a roach mixed into everything! I will NEVER came back here again!

Food was good! 5 stars for that. 4 stars because it tedious to place the order. You have to wait outside, call it in, go inside to pay and then go back outside and wait about 20 minutes. Highly recommend to call it in before heading out.

It’s hit or miss here sometimes it’s great and fresh but sometimes they put older food under the fresh or chewy egg rolls.

It was quick and pretty good, not the best I've had but still very good. They do have some great egg drop soup. I recommend you give it a try!

Omg the food here is delicious! I had forgotten all about! I used to eat it as a kid when I lived with my parents and omg they still have the same great taste! Keep up the great work you guys!

The staff here is awesome! With snow, no power and hardly anywhere to get food they kept taking orders and preparing good food! I had a house fire the night before.so we are at a hotel with no power. Lee's Garden helped me feed my family! True heroes! The food was delicious too! Thank you to the wonderful staff at Lee's Garden! Many blessings to you!

Yes. I was given a 45-90 minute window, but I ordered during a non peak period and only live. 4 miles from the restaurant. It appears the delivery will take all of 90 minutes or more seeing how I’m still waiting for my lunch that I ordered at 2: 45pm. It’s now 4pm. I pray that my food hasn’t been in transit for over an hour.

This restaurant follows directions precisely, does an excellent job with their food, and is very organized. Me and my family adore this place and how much care they place in every order.

Food is good and they give you big portions. The price is good and cheap.the only thing is the wait is a little long. My order was supposed to be ready at 1045 and I got it at 1115.

Ordered delivery at 730 and it's 950! If they were too busy they should have CALLED and let me know! Never ordering from here again.and I will be contacting my bank to reverse the $21 charge!

Was able to order from Lee's during this most recent winter storm. The staff was extremely limited but the service was still impeccable. The lady in the front dealt with the line of hungry and anxious customers with speed and grace. We had a delicious, hot, filling meal for only a small wait and a fair price for a family of 4. The BBQ spare ribs were a family favorite, delicious. Thank you Lee's Garden for offering your services even in the bitter cold. 10/10 recommend.
