The gym has everything you need, is 24 hours which is better than other gyms in the area. Parking can be rough when is busy. Everyone minds their business because they’re actually there to workout.

Legends Gym is THE GYM to be at in Rockwall County…. A lot of Dallas folks make the drive as well.

Real equipment, Real results, and nothing is watered down. Cool owners and staff, and there’s also daycare, MMA, posing room, 24 hour access, cardio room, gym music, shop, and field.

If you go to 24 Hour/Anytime/Planet/etc.in Rockwall, you’re missing out. That is, if you like to lift heavy things, Legends takes the cake. Cleaner, better, and readily available equipment for any kind of workout.

My family loves this gym. My husband loves all the machines and I love that I can finally workout with my husband now that we found a gym with a kids club. My kid approves of the kids club so it’s great for all of us. Everyone I’ve encountered is friendly and the gym is clean! Only small complaint is the parking situation at certain hours.

Great place to get buff! They stayed open during covid, and that says a lot.

This gym has it all. Weights, machines, dumbbells, cardio, field turf, squat racks, posing room, MMA facility, group workouts, private training, great staff, and a shop with drinks, supplements, snacks, and meals, and more!

Other gyms can’t compete with Legends Fit!

I've been training at this gym for about 4 months so I will leave a review in three parts. I've been to just about every "hardcore" gym in DFW so I will try to be thorough:

The Good: Good variety of equipment, lots of space, friendly staff, definitely well cleaned. I always see staff cleaning throughout the day. There's definitely a large population of serious and experienced lifters which definitely helps with the vibe and etiquette. They have multiple dumbbell areas which reduces instances where people pick up a set and disappear to another part of the gym.

The Not So Good: There are few pieces of equipment that I feel are core pieces that are missing. They could use an additional plate loaded chest press, and some other seated plate loaded back machines (like the iso lateral row from Hammer Strength). Also a dumbbell rack for the 120lbs - 150lbs would be nice as well. For those of us that venture that high, lots of energy is wasted having to pick them up off the floor.

The Bad: Huge problem with high school aged kids (and some older ones) and their lack of etiquette at the gym. They train in large groups and spend way too much time talking and goofing off. The gym is packed pretty tightly with equipment so navigating some areas can be difficult even when it's empty. It's only made worse when a group of five kids are just standing in the way. That being said, I give the owners of the gym a lot of credit for recently mandating etiquette classes as a condition of membership for members under 18, although I would maybe require it for people 21 and under because maturity isn't reached at 18 or 21 like it was in years past. A lack of gym etiquette has been a growing problem in several gyms I've frequented over the years, but kudos to the owners at Legend's for addressing it.

All in all, this is definitely an amazing gym.

The good: best gym for serious training in Rockwall area. Great variety. Higher quality members than the average gym-a lower rate of poor gym etiquette than usual. Reasonably priced. Cleaning supplies easy to find. I appreciate the patriotic and first responders theme.

Even with 5 stars, every place has some areas it could improve. The bad? Gets very crowded-you may not even find parking near peak hours. $10 for replacement key fob seems excessive. Lots of people bring in tripods to video themselves, take up excessive amounts of space, and consequently take more time on equipment than they otherwise would. Lastly, I wish they'd fire more members for dropping the weights on cable machines after their last rep. It happens a lot so cable equipment is constantly in need of repair. It's 100% because of the fools who drops weights.

Suggestion: facilitate members finding gym partners.

Great gym, plenty of equipment.

The core values of the gym are also inline with my own. (Pro 2A)

Since I've been a Legend's member I've loved it. All the employees are topnotch and the trainers are exceptional. The gym is in fantastic condition and there's equipment for just about anything you could think of. I highly recommend Legends Fit to anyone who needs an everyday gym or personalized training.

Good environment. Lacking in the equipment area. Lots of machines need to be repaired or updated.
