Avoid Lektrotech at all costs if you need tool/equipment repair. I dropped a jointer off in December 2021. I was told because of the holidays, it would take a couple extra weeks to look at it to figure out the issue. Not a problem. Month later I called, was told parts were ordered and once they finish the repair they will give me a call. Another month past, called again. Was told the jointer has not been looked at yet and wasn’t sure why I was told parts were ordered.

Many more months went by, we moved and I forgot about the jointer. Once I remembered, I called and they said they still haven’t looked at it. I questioned why since it had been around 6 months and was told, “I don’t see the problem. These things take time and we only have 1 person doing repairs. ”

Last week I finally had enough and I went to pick up my jointer. It was still sitting in the same corner that it was put in 11 months ago. Guy at the front desk said he sees this a lot. Repairs never get done.

Jointer is now out of warranty and having to deal with the manufacture to figure out how to get the repair done.

Do not use Lektrotech! Avoid them as all cost!

Took in dewalt drill for warranty service and they charged 27 for shipping it to dewalt. Didn’t tell me till I picked it up. I could have shipped it to dewalt for $9 or dropped it off in Carrollton for free. Won’t be using them again

Gentleman that works at register is unprofessional, most of his answers to your questions will be no, no, no without any other explanation.

My son took his welder to be repaired by this place. It was there for 2 months and then an 18 wheeler ran into the place and damaged the welder. Jim has told us for some 9 months now he would fix it but to this day still hasn't fixed it. He has lied multiple times telling us it would be repaired only to come up with an additional excuse as to why it isn't. We now just want to come get it and take some place else and he is refusing to give it to us. What a crook!

Dropped my Miller bobcat off I back in may. It’s now the end of Aug and still haven’t gotten it won’t return calls won’t hardly answer the phone trying to change the original price agreement then proceeded to do things I said not to. All I wanted was a diagnosis to figure out the issue the next I know is they’ve done a full tune up ordered the part and now instead of $90 to find the issue is now $550 the last I got a hold of anyone and trying to change it. Once I get this machine back it will never go back or any other machine. Pathetic device it’s not even worth rating a one star.

Made me wait 2 months to finally get an answer what was wrong with a generator. Then charges me close to 300 dollars after 2 months of finding out. Why take 3 hours to find out what is wrong when it should take an hour!

What is this place? I went in to purchase a pretty common flux core wire, 045 or. 052, the biggest they had was. 035. I asked for er70s-6,035 or. 045, they had none of that either. Typically, you can tell the success of a weld supply by the knowledge of the counter person, he thought I was nuts for wanting such large electrode, bad mouthed the owner of the company, and kept referring themselves as a specialty shop but couldn't tell me what their specialty was, could someone please tell me? I live here near Greenville, love to support local business, and try to avoid purchasing at the big box stores, but would have had better luck and service at the local farm supply. Disappointed.

Dropped off a mig welder to get repaired. Called two weeks later to check progress. Rudely told me that he would call me when it’s done. It’s been months, he never called. Heck I forgot I had it there til now. Never again.

Bobby is great, always smiling and happy to help. Jim, the owner, is a mastermind when it comes to diagnosing the problem. This guy can fix ANYTHING! I've been doing business here for years on all my welding needs. Forget that old guy on I30, go here!
