Everyone was very kind and the gentleman that helped us was very thorough and helpful. This being our first homebuying experience we were very anxious about the closing process, but everyone at Lennar was very supportive and made the process as easy as possible. Thank you so much for helping our dream come true.

My customers and I were waiting outside in the cold for over 20 minutes before they would let us in the building. The person I talked to over the phone said she would be right with is. Shocking lack of customer service or care. No copies of documents after the closing and we sat and waited over 25 minutes for a receipt to be given for the cashier check! This place needs a lesson on how title works and what customer service means. Beware all who enter. (if you can enter before freezing to death)

This is a repost of my previous review, the manager called me and asked me to change the review to a better one if she were to send me a gift card or ‘do something nice for me’. She never did, so.

They are mismanaged and understaffed, when you call they only have one receptionist and she will put you on hold every time another phone rings or someone needs to talk to her in person. Had to call 3 times with questions or to confirm appointment, each call took 15-20 min to accomplish this simple task.

During closing, we handed them our realtors tax paperwork, so he could get paid. 2 weeks later he had not been issued a check so I had to call Cal Atlantic to ask why. They had LOST HIS TAX PAPERWORK. That’s right, they had lost it, had no idea where it was, with all his personal information, it was just GONE! And they had not taken the time to call me OR him to explain the situation, they just left our file open and kept his money. They could not explain why or how they had lost an important part of our closing documents, they just blamed it on ‘a temp that was working here’. They refused to let me talk to my closing agent or the notary who handled the actual paperwork, first by telling me they didn’t know who had handled the paperwork then by just refusing and telling me over and over again that the paperwork is lost and they can’t issue a check. So we had to do their job for them, and send them our realtors tax paperwork a second time. Again, no accountability, no oversight, no communication, nothing. As far as I can tell they were just going to keep the realtors commission money and leave our file open forever. They also screwed up my escrow check, had to wait to get that fixed while I was at closing. I strongly caution anyone considering using them. Read your pre-closing docs, talk to your mortgage broker - most of the time, you have a choice of Title companies! Shop around! Find one that cares and is competent. Don’t trust CalAtlantic just cause your lender or builder gets a bundle discount using them, you will be sorry if you do.
