Liberty Tax on Pecan Street is the only tax preparer that I recommend family and friends. Donna and Lisa are amazing. They provide excellent customer service and they prepare you taxes in lightning quick fashion. They treat everyone like family and also have the best rates in town. Thanks Donna for everything you do for me and my family

The only reason I give them 1 star is because I can’t give 0.
I dropped my paperwork with them mid March.was told the would have the tax prep complete in a couple of days.
Finally on April 15 they called me to come to sign off on it.
We went in & were told we owe a lot more then we estimated, I figured I made a mistake. We signed off on it & was told it would be forwarded to the IRS on the due date of 4-18. They charged me almost $800.00 to prepare my tax paperwork.
They couldn’t give us a copy that day but we could pickup a copy on 4-24.
We show up at their office on 4-24 no one is there. We start calling, can’t leave a voicemail because the mailbox is full. We call corporate they are rude & no help at all.
Finally 5-15 they reopen. They told me the owner had surgery so they were closed 4-18 through 5-15.
As of 5-18 they still haven’t forwarded or return to the IRS. Just excuses from Liberty.
I talked to the IRS on the phone today & they told me to file & I will face a penalty for being late.
We had our tax refigured today & no surprise Liberty had us paying $7000.00 more than we actually owed.
Do yourself a favor & never use this company.

I have filled my taxes with them for years now, Liza is the only good thing about libraty tax she helps you and explains everything in detail.how ever I have always make the same amount of money and they usually charge me around $300 to file not this years. I’m paying over $500 just to file my taxes libraty tax is charging way to much and is only a W2 I will never file with them again.ridiculous! Save money Go somewhere else.

We’ve been using this Liberty Tax for the past 5 years (including at their old location down the road). This year we dropped our tax information off the weekend before Presidents Day. We were told that they should have everything finished in approximately 72 hours, plus some extra since the Monday was a holiday. No problem, totally understandable. What isn’t understandable is that we have called every few days for the last 3 weeks since we had not heard anything back. Each time, we talked with the receptionist (who was very nice and apologetic) but all she could tell us was that it was “finalizing”. I asked her to have one of the tax preparers to call me back, several times, and they never did. We could not get an answer as to what the hold up was, so we finally came and picked up our documents. Very unprofessional.

The last 2 years I went to this dump. Paid $279 2 years ago and $350 the next year to get my taxes done. Then waited 4 weeks to get them thru direct deposit. This year I got paid the same as I did the last 2 years with my job and I got $200 more and plus $275 extra because H&R block does ur taxes for $85 and they know liberty Tax is sketchy so they do it infront of you and I just did mine on Monday and already got a notification that I'm getting them into my account next friday! They say everyone from Liberty Tax eventually ends up here so save the miserable year with them and just go to H&R block this year.

Liza was very patient with me, she did a great job with my tax return and she explained it in details, and helped me understand better! I’ll definitely be back in the future!

. Thought I was going to have to wait to file my taxes and then I talked to Liza and she told me that I didn’t have to wait. I’m never usually a fan of small tax preparation offices but she helped me changed my mind. First year filing with and I will be back.
