Lick Honest Ice Creams reviews
16Delicious, safe for celiac/gluten free. Well labeled allergens and server confirmed them. Unique flavors that taste real. Service was great!
Had the plum rum ball ice cream it was vegan and I’m not a fan of vegan things at all but holy moly was that really good ice cream 100% recommend.
Cute little ice cream shop, it’s a chain across San Antonio and Austin. Innovative flavours. Roasted Beets & Fresh Mint and Cilantro Lime are delicious.
Stopped by for the seasonal caramel popcorn ice cream. The flavor was so rich but the texture with the bits of kernel in the ice cream was not my favorite. You can tell this ice cream is homemade and otherwise the texture of the ice cream was good. It is nearby other restaurants and outdoor vendors. $4.25 for 1 scoop. The employees were nice and let me try before choosing. The shop is very small with not much room for customers so if you have mobility needs/wheelchair user may be difficult to enter and exit.
This place is adorable! Lucky for us, they stay open late so we stopped in for a cone after visiting Tower of the Americas. The employee who helped us was really friendly. The ice cream and cone were so good!
Come visit for some of the best ice cream you will ever taste. The high quality of the ice cream and the location of this shop in a tourist-oriented area do mean higher prices, though. As a chocolate lover who can't stomach normal milk, the vegan Chocolate Chocolate flavor is a miracle.
They have 3 vegan flavors of chocolate with cookies watermelon swirl or peach oat and peach oat is the truth its very sweet and tastes like pie it does not taste like the store vegan ice cream watermelon is ok too the lady was nice in there too
First time trying this place. Me and the family enjoyed the ice cream. The peach cheesecake is amazing! Very family friendly, most certainly recommended. Joe was very helpful and extremely professional!
Joe and Kallista are the best scoopers ever! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful every time I visit (usually twice a week). Also, the ice cream is absolutely delicious and I’m so happy they brought back the Orange Dreamsicle Pride flavor! I truly dread the day I move away and can’t get my weekly Lick.
The peach oat crisp (or something like that) is the best dairy-free frozen dessert I’ve ever had! Like… what? ! So so so good, and management is awesome.
The flavors were different from what I’m used to but they let us try them all so I settled for banana nut fudge. I’m definitely coming for the rest.
Cute little ice cream shop, it’s a chain across San Antonio and Austin. Innovative flavours. Love their goat milk and thyme, lavender ice creams. This particular location is super cute too.
Came in wanting a shake (which they don’t offer) but walked out with a delicious orange flavored ice cream cone. The flavors offered are very unique, but all very good.
Staff was friendly, provided great suggestions and unlimited taste tests!
Good location off the beaten path. Parking is limited.
Cute ice cream shop with amazing flavors. Try taking the waffle inside of a cup for no leakage and savor your ice cream. I tried Thyme honey and liked it a lot!
My family and I were here last night after getting dinner on the river walk for dessert. Highly recommend you give Lick a try!
Overall - amazing! Atmosphere is so cute and building is just adorable!
Customer service - FANTASTIC! Joe was there and he was great! Knowledgeable about flavors and ingredients. Friendly and patient! Had no problems with letting our dairy free person try all 3 flavors!
Ice Cream - SO GOOD! We had the following - coffee, chocolate, vanilla/honey, and the DF/GF ice cream sandwich. Would get each again! DF all seem to be coconut based but flavors came out in each ice cream.
Price - great ice cream for a reasonable price. Loved that there wasn’t an up charge for DF varieties.
Would definitely come back!
Lick. Please consider upping your flavor game. If you’re going to have a location right next to a kid’s park, have more kid friendly flavors outside of Vanilla. Kids don’t want ice cream with beets or cilantro in it, most people don’t, like come on. The flavors that are edible are decent, to me they’re way too surgery and not creamy enough. The cones are gross, way too much sugar. I believe the whole thing is overpriced for the quality. Fancy ice cream is cool when it tastes good and the owners of this company are clearly not getting that. Companies like Amy’s are worth it for that reason. $12 for two single scoop cones that we both picked through and didn’t finish is not worth it. Won’t be back.
