LIFE Ambulance Services reviews
6Very unprofessional. Told a family memeber that they didn't look sick when that person clearly was and that the hospital would probably just send her home. That was not their call to make! And they were obviously very wrong! My family memeber was admitted right away and requires surgery! When I called to file a complaint the manager seemed nonchalant.
They are such a blessing to our community! I thank God for their services! Thank you Rachel for all you do!
I am a healthcare worker that works at one of the major hospitals here in El Paso that relies on Life Ambulance to transfer patients from one hospital to another.
To make a long story short I waited 4 hours for them to come pick up one of my patients to be transferred. They lied about their time by two hours, forcing my patient and I to wait an additional 2 hours for them to arrive!
They initially told me it would take 2 hours, then at the 2 hour mark they said it would be an additional hour. After that hour passed I had to call them every 15min to see what in the world was going on. I was met with super vague and passive aggressive responses like "we are sorry you feel this way, we are doing everything we can" by whomever answered the phone.
When the EMTs finally arrived their response to being a whole 2 hours late was "because of covid". Horrible and unprofessional behavior by Life Ambulance (or "Lie Ambulance", for that matter). DO NOT use this poor excuse of an ambulance for any of your medical transport needs.
I went in here to go pay my bill. Unfortunately nobody in the office were practicing safe social distancing. No one there were wearing masks or keeping 6 feet apart. It’s was a very small work space, and there were about 10+ people crowding a small amount of space. It was mostly the paramedics not keeping it safe, but I did not see one person wearing a mask, not even the office workers. This was greatly unappreciated during a time when we really need to practice safe distancing.
Life Ambulance Services regardless of the rising costs of medical care throughout the years has been a business that stands it ground. The community has recognized and entrusted this ambulance service for years. This Ambulance Service in comparison to others is one of the affordable services out there in the community. I have known Life Ambulance during my career and they have always been there for the patients, customer while I was working for Quality and Compliance with Hospitals the quality and patient care have always been a priority with Life Ambulance Staff, Management.
They picked up my dad to take him in when he got sick. We tried explaining some things to them but they didn’t care. As a result they stressed us all out especially him and my mother and they made him get worse. They shouldn’t be in business like this when they’re responsible for people’s lives.
