Locally owned and great customer service! The store is very clean and has displays for any and all of your fireplace or patio needs, including furniture, grills, seasoning, and accessories!

We built a lake house recently and needed 3 fireplaces. One that we ordered was a special order and we were worried about turn around time but they got it in quicker than we were ready for it. They made this process stress-free for us from beginning to end. Our salesman Stuart was very knowledgeable and was able to fit our needs perfectly. The guys that installed our fireplaces were friendly, fast, and left the area clean. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a fireplace or gas logs.

Excellent customer service. Dylan installed a new pilot assembly in record time. He was in and out in 15 minutes! Also, LOVED the purple hair!

Our fireplaces a “facelift”. Dylan was the service guy and he was EXCELLENT! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Did exactly what I asked. Couldn’t be more pleased.

Well I have been waiting for someone to get back with on a installation and it’s been over a month. When I called to check on it they hadn’t even put me down to get anyone on it. Than I ask the girl to speak with the owner she laughed and said their is not a owner for me to talk with. She was very rude I am thinking very seriously about going somewhere else and just getting my money back.

Needed a fireplace grate. They had one that fit in stock. Good price, too. Going to need a new gas grill soon, and they looked like they had a decent selection.

Same day service. Bought new fireplace doors and they put them in the ame day. Dylan was courteous, polite, did a great job and no mess. Perfect gentleman you would welcome in your house.
We highly recommend LIGHT YOUR FIRE!

We bought a outdoor griddle from them. It does not work correctly. I went to there show room and there display did not light either. The owner said we just use a lighter. It is under warranty! I want my money back. No refund. They are horrible. Sent repairman out. He said there was a problem with it. Fixed nothing left and sent us a bill for 150 service call. YOU DID NOT FIX IT.

I'm giving one star because their service man tried to help as much as possible. My mom lives in a condominium neighborhood built by Mezayek Building. She purchased the condominium brand new and specifically wanted one with a fireplace. We were given Light My Fire's name by the builder as the company to install the fireplace, so we contacted them. The fireplace was installed and has worked properly for probably 2 months of the 6 years my mom has lived in her condo. She is 85 years old and has had to call Light My Fire repeatedly over the fireplace. My husband and I have also contacted them. They've replaced almost every part of the fireplace but it still doesn't work. Their latest response is that the fireplace is old and needs to be replaced. They have continually told us that the faulty fireplace was the responsibility of the builder. If LMF installed the fireplace it seems it would be on them to make it right. At this point they no longer return our phone calls.

Our experience was good for a new build. I wanted a specific gas fireplace and for the electric fireplace they recommended one. A representative came out today to put the fireplaces in operation and did a good job, didn’t make a mess, and explained things adequately. There was no propane conversion kit but it may have been the builders fault in losing it or an error on their part. In any event they will be back in a couple weeks. Sufficient for my purposes. There are some bad reviews but our experience has been otherwise.

We went in February and picked out our fireplace. We gave them a deposit and left thinking all was good.

May- they came and installed the fireplace. But left without putting a chimney cap on or the door. We did not stress about it. We had more work to do so no big deal.

July came- NO cap and NO door and we were about to start moving in. I called them. Guy tells me that he is waiting on the company that makes the caps. I call back the next week and the guy has zero answers on anything. He could not even answer when the cap was ordered.

So I then call the company that makes the caps. She tells me the order did not get placed till July and it will be done Soon.

Deposit- February
Install -May
End of July- not done

And everything was PAID for!
The frustrating part is they did not even have documentation of when the cap was ordered!
And they had zero answers for anything!

So they finally come to put the cap on and it doesn’t fit! So here we go again waiting. A week later they came and had it right.

But.no door! And I was told by the front desk lady that the door and cap would get done the same time.
Well… after the cap was done I started to call to find out about the door.
They would not answer. So I called on my father in-laws phone and guess what? She answered lol.

I told her we could just come pick up the door. She said sure it will be waiting for you. Lol
Go to pick it up and she says we owe more.no ma’am you owe us because your not installing it now. So we had to show her on the statement that she owes us not we owe her.

Get the door home and working to put it in and guess what? It is not the correct size. We had zero desire to go back. So went and bought material to create a way for it to work.

They are TERRIBLE!

-bad costumer service
-a mess with ordering
-and just rude!

We enjoyed the visit with owner Wade And all our questions were answered. There was a 2 week wait period to install but they installed before 1 week was up. We are 100% pleased from the time we walked in until after the instillation. You won’t go wrong choosing Light Your Fire!
