The owner absolutely sucks. Ordered a part for our fan. Said 1-2 weeks. Called him 3 weeks later. No part. 5 weeks later I called him and he’s said “it’s in”. No courtesy call that it came in. Complete disaster. Don’t mess with the guy.

OK, I ordered a receiver for a fan. Northwoods said it needed to be sent from the manufactor. Ok good, I can wait. Odered was placed and my card charged on 2/17. I have called several times only to be told to wait, the part was not available. Waited 3 weeks. Called again, told to wait. SO, I called the manufactor in CA too see if I could find out if the part was 1. Ordered 2. Was avaiable. CS as soon as I gave the name of whom was dealing with here in Houston, said I'll just send you the part. Received the part, installed, works. Called Northwood, I said just give me my money back. Told to wait, I would get my money back when Northwoods gets their $ back. It's been 8 weeks. So, Mr. Northwoods just keep the money. I filed a complaint with the BBB. We will see how that goes, Thank You

This place has the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I had to have a socket replaced. It worked for two weeks. Took it back, Juan replaced it again. It worked for three weeks. Took it back three days ago. Juan was not there. The woman at the desk screamed in my face, verbally abused me to the point that I told her I hope the twenty dollars I paid for the repair was worth their reputation because I was going to report this all over the internet. Did not faze her. She was the most arrogant, rude person I have ever dealt with. I took it to another lamp shop. They could not believe the shoddy work from them but knew of their horrible reputation.
