Linde PLC, The Woodlands TX

I live in the adjacent community in the same area of this business and a while ago we received an email from the community office saying we were not allowed to walk or walk our dogs anymore at the driveway that is managed by the companies around the community. They said that was due to safety concerns with people walking on the driveway which I understand and appreciate. However, today I was told I cannot even take my dog to a grassed area outside the community gates either and that I can only walk her inside the community. When I first moved to this community they advertised there was a pond on the back that residents could go and walk. There was even a poop bag dispenser and bin at the pond which was removed a few weeks ago. I can only think there is a new management that made these decisions and although it is their call as they manage the area, I just felt there was a huge lack of empathy and kindness to be reinforcing this at this time, at a time when people cannot go anywhere else and residents of the community have to share the small public space inside the community with dogs and dogs that might not get along with other dogs, with kids, kids that might be scared of dogs, etc. That makes me sad that while so many other companies and people are showing compassion during this time, this is what these companies around my community are worried about. These are times where you can see the true values and culture of these businesses. Sad.
