Little Bavarian Restaurant reviews
15First time here, loved it! Will definitely will be bringing friends to explore the menu some more! Our server was great and the atmosphere is so fun. The cucumber salad was like my grandma used to make. I'm glad to have a good German restaurant in the area! Found a new fav spot.
This place is a gem, considering we are in crummy El Paso. Great atmosphere and decent food.
Our first time coming to this El Paso staple but it won't be our last! Huge portions, made fresh to order, absolutely delicious and authentic food, and the cake was. We left full, happy, and incredibly impressed. Big thanks to the waiter for being so gracious when it was already 7: 30 as we finished our meal!
Courteous, fast, and friendly waiter, great chicken schnitzel, and delicious German dark beer.
If you have time try the black forest cake
Wonderful little German restaurant tucked away in a strip mall. Unassuming from the outside, but surprisingly full of atmosphere and Bavarian charm. Their menu is typically German with all of the favorites. I tried the schnitzel platter and I was impressed! It came with three styles of schnitzel - all perfectly cooked. The "El Paso" style was a refreshing blend of classic schnitzel and spicy creamy salsa - simply wonderful! My co-worker tried ther Cordon Bleu and raved about every bite. Others enjoyed Jaeger and Rham Schnitzel and were equally happy. All meals came with a classic german cucumber salad. The service was first rate, and the cook (a native German Frau) came out to check on her work. Plenty of German speakers in the place as well. Will go again every chance I get!
Great food, prompt service, good atmosphere. This small slightly hidden German restaurant is delicious and consistently delivers an authentic flavor.
Service is great and the ambiance is amazing for families. The spaetzle was a bit watery, the brown gravy wasn't spectacular, but the pricing and the atmosphere is worth going back to
It's a gem. German beer on draft and light speed service. I also highly recommend getting dessert.
I want to thank the owner of The Little Bavarian Restaurant and his assistant for a wonderful luncheon for a local organization of 32 folks.
We had tasty meal, cucumber salad, bratwurst, schnitzel, red cabbage, spazel followed by delicious Black Forest Cake.
Not only did they accommodate us, they also took care of regular customers!
We are a bunch of primarily picky old ladies and trust me we all left with smiles on our faces and our stomachs full!
We had 1 vegan and I was a bit leery about what he would serve her. Ha! She received a 3 course meal prepared especially for her!
Thank you Thank you Thank you for a delightful time at your restaurant!
Highly recommend!
The food was great. Service was slow. There was a large party there the same time we visited and they were the priority we were an after thought. Probably just bad timing but I believe they could have done better.
First experience with German food and this was the best! The service from Fernando was not just friendly, but above and beyond! He was by himself and still served from his heart. The buzz bombs are a must and everything we tried was just delicious. A small joint hidden and so worth the experience.
Great atmosphere, authentic German food, friendly and helpful service. A great down to earth local place. Definitely recommend a visit or two.
Eh, I wouldn't recommend at all. I've had great german food many times but this place fell short. Nothing tasted like it was salted at all and the gravy was really really gelatinous without being cold. If you like beer, go drink!
The hunters schnitzel was the best meal I have had in a restaurant up to date a must try do yourself a favor and try it
Best German food in town!
The fried potatoes (bratkartoffeln) are very good.made with bacon.
Tastes like they don't add a lot of salt.which is awesome if you are on a low sodium diet.you can add your own.very smart nowadays.they should advertise that as a selling point.
I enjoy a lot of German food and this is very good. The spaetzle are the closest I've had to what my mom used to make, not just broken up pasta shells.
The cucumber salad (gürken salat) is also very light and has just the right amount of dill to kick the meal off.
