This place is a hidden gem. Some of the best thai food I've ever had! I'm so glad I stopped by for a bite to eat. I tried the tofu massaman curry, and my daughters really enjoyed the pad Thai.

Fried spring rolls are a must, so crispy and light with just the right amount of filling. I had the pad Thai and the flat noodles both were really delicious.
The staff was really friendly and attentive, place was clean and cozy.

This place I hadn't been in years. Food was good only one that might better is taste of Thai.waitress took order 3x and if you are tipping you should pay at table. The place is small enough. But over all food was great.

Best Thai food in CTX. Unmatched in quality and efficiency and such such kind staff. A hidden gem!

I love coming here! The staff is kind and friendly and the food is phenomenal. Our personal favorites are the Tom Yum Goong soup (great for when you’re feeling sick), the crab fried rice and the fried spring rolls. The Thai iced tea is a delight too! We come here at least once a month.

This is a little place you would miss if you were not looking for Thai food. The servings were large and so delicious. The green curry was amazing and the clear noodle dish was great. Everything tasted fresh. The spring rolls were so good. The place could use a little fixing and some organization but overall it was worth the trip.

I’m so so happy to stop here on the way back from Circuit of America. It looks small outside but it feels super cozy inside.

I traveled to Thailand last year and was so in love with the crab fried rice there that I’ve been looking for a similar flavor here in the US. I finally found it.

This place is authentic. I ordered crab fried rice, Tom kha, papaya salad, chicken wing… I cannot find anything to complain. Trust me and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed

Cozy, peaceful, low profile place and the food is DELICIOUS!
I cleared my plate completely which is rare for me to do at restaurants.

This restaurant is not big, but a convenient place to have a good meal. The food was tasty, and the portion was big. It is a quiet restaurant. The service was at the slower side but manageable.

The green curry was spicy but quite bland. It was missing the zing that makes Thai food exciting.

This place is incredible. Nothing Americanized about the food — bold and subtle in all the ways that make real Thai food so good and layered. And the vibe is super friendly, unpretentious, authentic without trying to prove itself. Not fancy at all, but one of the best places to eat in the Austin area.

I have gotten take out food/ curry from here three times, the first two times were great however I’m sad to say that last Friday, the yellow curry (usually the most mild) was so spicy that it made my friend and I sick to our stomach, definitely need to be more informative of spice levels- thank you

I am still feeling genuinely shocked that this level of authentic thai food restaurant is just tucked away on the out skirts of austin.they have a fantastic selection with many classic dishes and some harder to find dishes.i went with some of my go to staples, papaya salad and larb.both were excellent! The service was friendly and attentive as well and while the ambiance is simple, it’s still a cute little restaurant.if you are driving past, you just have to stop!

Little Thailand: A Culinary Gem with Room for Improvement

I recently dined at Little Thailand, and I must say, the food was a delightful revelation. The menu boasted an array of delicious and authentic Thai dishes that truly satisfied my taste buds. What impressed me most was the reasonable pricing, making it a hidden gem for those seeking quality cuisine without breaking the bank. I explored various items on their menu, and each dish lived up to my expectations, delivering an authentic Thai experience. However, a word of caution: the spice levels can be intense, so it's wise to specify your preferences.

While the food was exceptional, the same couldn't be said about the service. Although the staff was friendly, I couldn't help but notice they were consistently short-staffed. One person juggled multiple roles, which affected the overall dining experience. This area undoubtedly calls for improvement to match the quality of the food they serve.

Ambiance-wise, the interior left much to be desired. A revamp would do wonders, as the place seemed outdated and could use remodeling. Additionally, during busy hours, the restroom tended to get dirty quickly, highlighting the need for more attentive staff.

Despite the shortcomings in service and ambiance, if you're primarily here for the outstanding food, Little Thailand won't disappoint. If you can overlook the other aspects, I highly recommend this place for its mouthwatering and authentic Thai cuisine. On the whole, I'd rate my experience a 3.5 out of 5, with hopes that the restaurant will address the service and ambiance issues to truly shine in the culinary scene.

Little restaurant with some big flavor. Probably the best Thai food within a 20min drive from Bastrop. Would definitely come back.
