Living Earth - Katy Freeway, Houston TX

I am very disconsolate because today, Monday, November 14, this man who attended me in the office at noon charged me exaggeratedly for throwing out a little garbage, if I had taken it in my truck, I would not fill it up, it would stay in half and charge me 3 times what it costs to take a truck I inform you so that you know that this place with this man is not going to throw away or buy anything it seems that he does not know about prices or is a little exaggerated and apart from the bad way he has to treat customers it is very rude as a worker he has to know how to deal with the public

This place is amazing with great people willing to assist with my needs! The wonderful gentleman helped me load the stones in my vehicle. I am very grateful for his hard work and his quality customer service.

Everyone was so very friendly and helpful.
I needed help getting all these rocks into bags and
the person working outside didn’t hesitate to grab
a shovel and load up bags and then my car.
I made 3 trips there in 1 day and I forgot my gloves
the last trip and the cashier let me use hers.

Been coming here for landscaping needs for a few years now. Great people and a great resource for diy projects.

Service and materials aren’t very good. I like living earth but this location is the worst hands down…

I called to ask if they have carry rose soil in bags, and they said yes. 30 min later I showed up, and they said they had no rose soil. They suggested using organic compost as an alternative. I asked if it would work to fill a raised bed with the organic compost and plant directly into it. They said, yes, absolutely. Then they told me to take my ticket to the back and someone would help me load. I drove to the back, saw the bags of organic compost which I could easily have loaded myself, but waited for the guy to finish with two other customers first, because that's what they had asked me to do. While there in the back, I noticed a whole pallet of rose soil in bags! Then the loading guy came to me, pointed to the organic compost, and told me to load it myself. I don't mind loading, but it's always a bummer to waste time needlessly waiting for someone else. I loaded up, got all the stuff home, unloaded it, and then found on their website that they do NOT recommend planting directly into their organic compost. Maybe those who formulate the soils and run the website know what they're doing, but it seem like the folks they have running the shop do not.

I have been buying their mulch, compost, etc.in bulk and bags forever and have never been disappointed. They are great products for your garden, and I have not found anything better to use over the years. Their 'Forest Floor' is the ultimate!

I have been a faithful customer with living earth for over 20 years and have bought from all their locations. I get mistakes happen! Katy and Hwy 6. - Has been the first location I’ve had issues with and the manager pretty much told me I was wrong. I just purchase 10 yards total- 5 yards per trailers 4/23 same trailer by the way. We didn’t have any issue living earth off 249 area.
This morning 4/24 we purchase same quantity and instead got 4 yards. I guess all the other locations skipped the same training he claims to have and the other locations don’t have a clue how to measure material?
Anyways, stay away from this location. Coming from the managers mouth, I am not the only one that’s complained about this same issue.

I want to call these people but After some of the reviews I read. I just don't know if I should take the chance.
