LKQ Pick Your Part - Houston Northville

Are these people crazy? I went there to buy a front grill for an old honda that costs $25 new online on amazon and ebay. I was expecting it to be maybe $10 at the most used. But they tried to charge me $75 plus 2 different taxes for the same part, all discolored, faded and beat up. Wow. I even showed the cashier the part on ebay on my phone and she didn't know what to say, just stared at me with a blank face and empty eyes. Never go here if you know the actual cost of parts. It seems like they are cashing in on people not knowing what the parts are actually worth brand new.

PRICES GETTING TOO HIGH CAUSING LESS ATTENDANCE. PLS POST THE PRICES UP FRONT LIKE YOU USED TO. 25 YEAR COLLECTIVE ATTENDANCE.

Came here around nine check out around 9: 40am I was buying a radiator nothing else and was told the price was 86.99 and told her that was wrong cause there price if you look it up on their website is 46.99. She then told me to keep scrolling and I will find it I didn’t even look till I got in my car and no where on the website it shows 86.99.

Cleanest location. Also the most organized. Cars are organized by make and model, may have a car steal here and there but overall I found what I needed and was in and out.

If you don't find what you need at one, go to the counter and ask for a free pass to another. Dont have to pay to enter the next LKQ but expires at the end of the day.

It was great service awesome job it's been 3 weeks since the job was done no issues with the glass super friendly it was fast no waiting to long

Double gate fee. The lie on price every time. Rude girl at the back. Good packing staff not helpful.

Need own tools and parts aren't always available you can call they'll only tell you if the vehical is there not the specific part so you'll have to go out and search for yourself

This is a well run and organized yard. Cars are mostly well marked and organized, and are elevated and well supported for getting suspension parts or other lower bits. Big place and it gets pretty hot; bring water.

Tried to have a car picked up and no one ever showed up. Gave me the run around for a couple of hours, but I guess it's my fault for picking a bad business.

Need to work on entry fee payment types. Seems LKQPICKYOURPART is hiding something with cash payment only at the two gates if you want to get to the later mode vehicles. Don't know if this is the same at the other locations but this was my experience at the Northville site.

When I called for the part of a late model, they deliberately neglected to tell me it's in an area where I got to pay extra to get into. They didn't tell me until AFTER I paid to get in the salvage yard. It's obvious this business only cares about your money and will do whatever it takes to hustle as much as they can out of you.

It was packed with cars but didn't have the make model or year I was looking for other than that it was a great place

This place is way to much for some of there car part they wanted me to pay 60 dollars for the part i need and i looked online at rockauto and they have the same part i needed for less then 30 dollars new

Need security in parking lot came here somebody tried to steal my headlights while I was buying parts for my car.damm shame.

This place has a lot of cars but not much for V8 mustangs, however prices are low and good values can be found for other vehicles

The price is too high and they charge you 2 times to enter early model late model. Not like Houston pull your parts I love that recycle yard

Plenty of cars to choose from. Entrance fee and prices are high. Ok if you need a part and you are on a budget.

Had to pay 2 differant entrance fees.and even though we called twice that day and asked if they had a certain part they said yes. We were even given a price.when we got there they didnt have it. I didnt have a good experience.

This place is Ok i guess but they didn't mention over the phone that you have to pay more to see other vehicles luckily i found the part i needed. Also dont wear you're good shoes very dusty lol

As others have stated, you have to pay extra to get into the 2004-later section. They don't refund if you don't find what you need, which is bad because many, if not most, cars here are stripped bare. I drive a common SUV (Honda Pilot) and they only had two (one of those being an older generation which did me no good). Long lines to get in/out, no one working wanted to help. I'll try elsewhere before looking here again.
