They have a much better selection of bamboo than Lowes or home Depot. Decently priced too. People are nice as well

This place is amazing, with great deals on clearance items. The employees were very professional and helpful. Amazing selection of displays so you can see what your buying. With over 100,000 square feet of flooring in stock, how can you go wrong.

*UPDATE*
The store associate took the time to reach out to a regional manager and explain the situation and get allowance for the return. This process was pretty quick in the end and is a satisfactory result. It was unfortunate the store manager wasn't interested in trying to support this result. To reiterate, the product was nice (maybe a bit pricey), and the delivery was prompt (according to what I was told). While somewhat more expensive than other options, this resulting interaction certainly regained some confidence in this company. The original store associate mentioned was nice and helpful, however the store manager was not and I was genuinely disappointed with his professionalism. I suppose I expect a bit more when you spend $5500 with a company. I was also contacted by corporate in response to this message, which may be how the result came about, but either way, it's good to see a company take action to rectify a negative situation. I have adjusted the rating from 2 stars to 4. The store manager, communication issues/clarity were the detractors.

This review is geared towards the communication of the staff and disregard for customer budget.

First the flooring I picked is great and the delivery was prompt. I needed to install myself and take my time as we couldn’t afford installation services and that is part of the issue. As I work full time, I installed sections of floor at a time and did so for a few months. I ordered the floor in October, received it in early November and finished the floor in February.

My issue is how much more product I was talked into ordering by the store associate. I came up with my measurements and added my spare/wastage into my total and assumed I would need 40-41 boxes of flooring. After talking with the associate, she informed me my estimate and percentage extra sounded way too light. I of course balked because this wasn’t my first time installing flooring with similar flooring. She reassured me that if I ordered extra, I could simply return the unopened boxes for a full refund ‘at any time’. The store has a 90-day return policy that was never mentioned during the 3 visits and multiple calls before I ordered. I’m sure it was noted somewhere in the paperwork in the fine print, but the associate neglected to mention it entirely. If I would have known, it was 90 days rather than ‘at any time’ I would have reduced my order from 45 boxes to 41 boxes like I planned (that I thought was conservative). As it turned out I finished with 7 1/2 boxes of floor (6 unopened). I knew I wouldn’t finish my project in 90 days since I was installing over 1000 ft of flooring solo and doing all the finish trim and coping myself exclusively in my spare time around my regular full-time job, 4 kids and the holidays. Floor was delivered Oct 29th and I finished February 18th just in time for company to visit. If was really aware of the 90-day policy, I would have returned the excess earlier. The shame of it was it wasn’t only the 5 boxes of flooring I couldn’t return, but an added roll of underlayment (that can only be returned for store credit) that amounts to over $410 plus tax. So all I thought I saved up front by their discounts was just wiped out.

In short, don’t trust anything this store says about what you can and can’t do from return policy, and read everything. I think mostly it’s a mis-communication but the store manager couldn’t have been less concerned with the issue just restated their 90 day policy. I certainly heard him say it now, but at least a ‘sorry for the communication lapse’ would have gone a long way. I regularly refinish houses for flip/rent and this was my last time going here, despite the nice products.

I truly don’t feel like they care if they give the wrong impression about their policies or if it screws you over. Shame on me for trusting someone’s word and not reading every single fine print. Lesson learned and shared with contractors I work with.

The service I received was first class from beginning to end. The assistant in the store was very happy to show me all my options in a very relaxed way. And when it came time for the installation it went seamlessly and they were in and out in two days for my particular job. That was fantastic. The crew were professional they worked diligently and meticulously and I was very happy with all the details regarding the flooring the quarter round and everything. I would highly recommend this company and I certainly would use them in the future! I’m very happy.

David provided the best customer service and educated me on the different types of flooring and what would work best for my second floor. He explained financing options with me which were also very helpful and I was able to get a no interest option over a period of time. Flooring was in on expected date and my contractor was able to pick up with no issues. Floors are in and I’m loving them! Would definitely recommend!

We have had the most amazing experience with Lumber Liquidators. David was super helpful. We returned to the store several times with my mother, in-laws and my husband to finally select the floors we wanted. David walked us through every option, provided free samples of the floors and followed up with us on the date agreed upon. He also provided great guidance on what would work best for the look and feel we were going for. He even helped with the stair noses and has been available/accessible as we complete the project. We ended up with Hickory floors as we are going for a coastal farmhouse feel in the house. The floors are great quality and look beautiful! Thanks David for all your help throughout this process - we love our floors!

I ordered online for store pickup and then went to the wrong store. They fixed everything and had me loaded up in under 10 minutes. Couldn't have been nicer.

Proceed with caution. I took the advise of the rep who was sent to the house to achieve the desired look and quality I was aiming for. While I understand taste can be subjective, I was grossly misled. Having spent the $3000, I figured I would just live with it, and that I should have known better than to try and trust the professionals. Well, fast forward a few weeks and the hardwood has settled and now has gaps. I reached out to corporate who stated "we dont see the glue now visible as you have said" and that aspects of that would be normal and expected. "We dont guarantee color and we could look into patching the gaps" I am left out $3000 with a product that does not even closely resemble what I wanted, and on top of that, has settled, and separated with gaps in the middle of my kitchen. Corporate was of little assistance and lacked any concern for the issues I was experiencing. I received very much the big box store response who seemed to care less, they got their money, on to the next. The resolution I was offered was to purchase all new flooring.again.

The salesman Alberto Torres was great showed different opinions and very good information took time to explain how the floors installed he was able to order all materials and 0 % interest for 24 months so we were able to get the floors we wanted price was wonderful thanks to all the staff.will be sending more family over to get new floors.

This is just the beginning of saying that the 2 staff at the Sam Houston feeder street, Store 021, has the greatest employees ever for dealing with being a person that has to commit to flooring after an explosion and during this time of Covid. Both Melissa and Alfredo really answered all my questions, concerns, and even not being sure about my choice to the last minute! I have been going in since June and waiting for a new flooring to become available. They were always friendly and inviting and PATIENT! After 25 years picking and committing to any flooring is difficult cause painted concrete sufficed! It is walked on, etc.by me and retired racing greyhounds! Now as a teacher teaching online to begin can focus on preparing to work and not on picking a floor and moving forward!

I'm a contactor and have been dealing with Lumber Liquidators for about 4 years Meagan opened my pro account on beltway 8 and JFK and Adrian has assisted me for about a year I am very very satisfied with the way they run there buisness accounts with pro's Adrian is always there to answer my calls and build up my clients quotes makes everything much easier and to mentioned Adrian has even answered my calls as late as 11pm to take care of my clients orders Adrian is a great pro specialist and a big asset to this company and not only Adrian, but also Meagan, Mellisa, Kevin, Joey and the rest of the crew I appreciate each and everyone of you guys take alot off my shoulders!
