Lockaway Storage, Celina TX

Shelton, the assistant manager, helped me find a different storage spot for my RV than where it was currently parked at Lockaway (covered vs partial covered which was cheaper). He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the process and changing to a different spot. It was quick and easy. I have been renting there for a while and my only complaint is that they raise the rates about every 4 months. It is getting to the point now, that the constant price increases will force me to move from there. Other than that, I can't complain about the facility or the staff.

Tina was amazing, I live in Frisco. But the place and amenities they have are one of a kind, worth the drive to store my boat and take it out on the weekend! Ask for Tina when for whatever you need, she’ll take care of it!

We have been customers here since April and during that time we’ve experienced 2 power outages, we had a refrigerator incapacitated due to electrical failure, numerous trips to the facility to fix electrical issues and food spoilage. Over all, its cost us $2930 which we are still working on getting resolved. To their credit, Lockaway helped replace the $150 in lost groceries. It goes with out saying, the tenure has been tumultuous at best. If it hadn’t been for Shelton we’d have been totally screwed.

We are so impressed that this facility has the power we need to charge the batteries in our Kona Truck. The staff were professional and polite!

While this facility has great location, and appears well kept and secure, the secure part is under significant scrutiny. Multiple tenants have experienced break-ins and vandalism. Myself included up to the tune of over $10K. However no help from the facility. In fact their systems appear completely faulty and of NO help in assisting Police or tenants. How a LOCKED facility can be broken into thru the entrance gates and the facility has no solution or provide any information who nor any identifying items is not just agitating, it hinges on false advertising and carless and negligent behavior by the facility. Add in their camera systems were outdated and very possibly not event working fully becomes a liability. Possibly a joint class action suit from those impacted would finally get the facility to do what needs to be done to provide a safe and SECURE location.
