I just had a really unpleasant experience at the Loft at Barton Creek. I hadn't shopped here in years until recently. Not too long ago I bought some clothes online. A few things didn't fit right so I came to return them today. Apparently I was past the return timeline (1 day) and the cashier told me I would receive the current sale price, not the amount I paid. I'm a teacher and the last few weeks have been incredibly hard and busy, which is why I never made it to the store to make this return. But ok, I accepted that, mentioned the short return timeline, and finished my transaction. As I walked out another sales person walked up to me and asked if I was unhappy with the prices. I shared that I was just frustrated with the return policy, thinking she was trying to help. Nope. She said, "Well, you know it's Memorial Day weekend and people died so you can be here. " I was so taken aback I just replied that I didn't think that was relevant but thanks for the reminder and walked away. Wow. So, this sales person who is working at a store that is open on Memorial Day felt compelled to follow me out of the store and harass me? Weirdest customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Waiting in line, 8 people and one cashier. Current transaction is taking over ten minutes. Customers complaining and staff is putting away clothing rather than helping customers—employee states she is not trained on running the cash register and that there is no manager here. Employee said 5 employees have quit over past week and this is probably why. She recommended we complain to upper management so here I am. Upper management- get your store together. This experience is horrible. Will be shopping elsewhere.

The Loft needs a makeover, their clothing designer is stuck on extremely conservative and frumpy.

I've been shopping at the Loft for over 20 years and it used to be good solid clothing with good designs.

Went in last night (Wednesday). Store is nice and neat but couldn’t see anyone working there. Walked around checking out the clothes but still no employees anywhere. Then noticed a young woman sitting behind the counter with her head down looking at her phone. I had to walk up close and speak to her before she would even look up. She seemed surprised anyone was in the store. Come on girl, get with the program!

The employees are usually friendly and kind. There are frequently great sales.
