Restaurant Logan's Place reviews
15First time here since the move. The food just didn't seem as good as it used to be, still well above average but it didn't "wow" me.
Pleasant place for lunch with family. Service was attentive. Just recommend cook to pay more attention to detail and not over fry the cheese curds & sweet potato fries.
Tried Cowboy burger, delicious with right amount of heat. The cheese lover’s burger was spot on.
Great lil place with lots of charm! Yes it’s in a bank building… don’t get it twisted though they know what they’re doing! We’ve been here a couple times now…the lobster and bacon grilled cheese is hard to resist! The breakfast burger is also a win every single time. The ribeye sandwich is extremely delicious! We’ve not been disappointed with anything we’ve ordered! Can’t wait to come back, very hospitable!
The food was okay. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and easy to talk to when we needed her. The atmosphere was comfortable but a little dingy. We were just passing through town.
My wife and I had our first visit couple of days ago for dinner. Her hamburger meal tasted good and she enjoyed it. My meal of pineapple chicken was tuff and chewy to eat due to the chicken being old. My baked potatoes was not hot and lukewarm (and half baked) all the way through. The tea tasted good and the waitress was very friendly. Not sure if I'm going back or maybe try something different.
This place was ok. Alana was a great server. Felt like a cafeteria and pricey. Not many options in the area but we will not be retuning.
Wait what? This is the first place I've dined (and it was just hamburgers this time) where other staff covered for our waitress when she had to leave. I felt honored and cared for by the rest of everyone else there. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back. Oh, the burgers were great too!
We went to Logan's on a Friday at 6pm. The parking lot was overflowing. The parking was fine when this property was a bank, but more parking is needed and it's difficult to navigate in a full sized vehicle when the stalls areas have cars and you have no where to turn around in the back.
Logan's is the only fine dining option. We had planned a nice night out for two couples. We made reservations in two weeks in advance and mentioned we would like a quiet area. We were seated next to a table of 8 with 4 small kids. With the place being packed, there were no other seating options. Therefore, it wasn't enjoyable with the added noise level of being seated next to a large party with kids. I have to deduct this for atmosphere. Apparently, reservations are not seriously considered as priority here.
While the food was good, it was a bit pricey compared to our favorite fine dining restaurants in Tyler and Dallas. Also, our appetizers came out at the same time as our meal and the wine was delivered to our table after we had begun our entrees. For this reason, I have to deduct for service.
For the amount of time you wait for your food, you could have spent the extra 30 minutes driving on to Tyler. I hope Logan's is just experiencing growing pains and will improve soon. We will give them one more chance and I'll be glad to update my review.
One thing to note, there are no indicators on the menu for gluten free items. You're dependent on your server being gluten free knowledgeable, which ours wasn't. Nor was the person who took our reservation. Because of this, I stuck with ribeye and salad with sautéed veggies. I feel this is an easy remedy to make it more inclusive for a growing gluten free society.
Very underwhelming. I ordered the lobster bacon grilled cheese and it tasted like greasy bread sandwich. Our server did her best to apologize and make it right, she explained it to the owner who never said a word to us. I will not be returning.
We had the best waitress, and shame on me for not remembering her name! The food was excellent! I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Delicious former food waitstaff very attentive and if you feel concerned you can jump in giant safe in back of restaurant
This was a pleasant surprise on what could have been a bad day. Happy to find it and hope it’s around if I come through the area again.
I recently had the delightful opportunity to savor a meal at a nearby dining establishment, and it was an experience that left a lasting impression. The inviting reception, the snug ambiance, and the innovative menu were all noteworthy aspects of the evening. The standout culinary creation, presented with elegance, truly exemplified the art of fine dining. The well-informed and hospitable staff further enhanced the overall enjoyment of the evening. The dessert, a sweet conclusion to the meal, added a perfect finishing touch. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant as an undiscovered treasure, where you'll find exceptional cuisine and impeccable service.
We took a trip to Mineola and decided to go to Logan's Place to eat. We have eaten there before when it was at their former location. Since they had moved into their new location (an old bank building), I wanted to see how they had renovated it. The food was great. We all had hamburgers (Cheese Lover Burger, Cowboy Burger, and Bacon Avocado Burger) sweet potato fries.
Logan’s has some the best burgers and sandwiches I’ve ever tasted! They have a great selection of craft beer and drinks available and the staff is always very friendly!
