Logan's Roadhouse, Lufkin TX

I visit Texas Roadhouse for Its consistently with a wonderful Ribye. This one was just shy of great - I think it was not put on a hot enough Grill to get those sexy sweet caramelized fat edges. It was medium as asked, just needed that edge that T. R. Typically delivers a Field Service Professional/Traveler on the road. I always sit at the bar!

Bartenders at TR are often the show, cute and/or if a guy, atleast talkative and entertaining.

Food was great. Service was a little slow especially for it being a Saturday night. It took longer than normal for bar drinks to come out.

This place has gone down hill so bad. Bad food, bad service, long waits. The area we sat in was empty and we saw our waitress 2 times the entire hour. The couple behind us talked to manager then got up to leave. I should have learned from the previous visit where the steak was dried out and the ranch dressing was extremely warm and made me instantly sick.

Manager was working behind the bar and she's did an excellent job. And of course she upsold me a very good Smokehouse ribeye steak. Med, it was good. Came out the way I wanted it, sides and drinks tasted great.

Do not, I repeat so NOT get the Roadies. The meat on those sandwiches looks like the part that fell off a real Burger on the grill. A huge bun with a tiny little gulp of meat on.

The service was excellent and the employees were quick to offer a replacement. I would recommend almost any other meal, but do not get the Roadies.

The food was superb, as was the service! The waiter was very attentive! I wish I remembered his name. The only problem I had was in the restroom. Trying to get the toilet paper off the roll. It wasn't the toilet paper itself I believe it was the roller the toilet paper was on. It just wouldn't roll were I could tear the toilet paper off easily. Paper kept coming off in pieces. It was so darn annoying. My daughter said she had a problem with hers in another stall. Other than that man my mom, daughter and I got full on some great tasting food! We had an awesome time! Ordered our food my burger was wrong it was covered with onions and mushrooms, when explained to the waitress I cannot eat mushrooms she returned the food. The manager scrapped some of the mushrooms and onions off the burger flipped the patty and delivered it back to me. Then my husband ordered a steak medium it was well done and tough. This is totally unacceptable. When we confronted the manager he couldn’t explain his actions on my food and Proceeded to hand us a bill.

Came here yesterday with about five people who all ordered steak and some of us got some the wrong thing on our plate which was fine. You can always take it back and put the right stuff on there but the steak was horrible. Four of us didn’t like our steak after spending $150. This has to be the worst experience at a steakhouse I’ve ever had. We will not be returning to this location ever again. One person steak was not cooked correctly at all and at least a couple of us that are steak was over seasoned! I’m sure y’all will not do anything about this because the bill was so high, but we will not ever location again! They really should fire whoever the cook was yesterday!

Draft beer was good. Queso and chips were good. Everything else was awful. Inexperienced staff (server, manager). Did not communicate with one another. They played tag team with us trying to get things straight. So confused about what we wanted. Even told us we couldn't have certain things due to this rule, or that rule. Come on. It's on the menu, figure it out. I think they had to come to our table like 20 times before getting it sort of right. Then, the wasn't food wasn't that good either and took forever to finally get. Worst dining out experience I think I've had in a long time, if not for all time.

The food was good and the server was great. The music was a bit loud. Even though they were pretty busy none of our drinks ran out. Always came by to ask if we needed anything. This was probably the best food I've ordered from here in quite a while.

They were seriously understaffed and had most tables vacant due to that, so we had to wait about an hour to be seated. An assistant manager (we didn't know he was at the time) had just come on shift and saw there was an issue and jumped in waiting tables. From the time we were seated, everything was excellent. We were so impressed that leadership stepped up and stepped in, rather than dictating from the sidelines most "leaders" do. True leadership!

We went to Logan's tonight for dinner, I wasn't happy with my meal but the server that helped us was fantastic he made sure everyone at his section was taking care of he would come by each table and made sure we was good his name was Devin M. Thank you for your taking care of us.

We've been to three or four different logans' but all have been in Arkansas, this was our first in Texas, and man did they let you Texans down. The food was utterly awful, not one single person from our table (4 of us) ate more than half our food.

My steak was ordered medium rare and came in half raw (like deep purple rarest of rare), and strangely the other half was well done. I cut it all up and showed the server that it wasnt cook right at all and he was very apologetic. I wasnt looking to complain, but just to let him know so he can give the kitchen some feedback. It was seasoned well, but the cook was just way off. I thought Texas was supposed to do meat right, but not here. I ate only a few bites.

My wife's steak was purple ultra rare too and wound up eating about 1/3 of it.

My daughter got the chicken parmesan and the noodles were cold and the toast was inedible rock hard. She said the chicken was good so we to-go-boxed it, but she didnt go back to it - we fed it to the dog. The dog loved it.

My son got cheeseburger but ate like 2 bites off it. I took a bite, and it tasted fine, but they didnt top it as ordered. Got the topping wrong which probably drove my kid not to want it. I liked it but we to-go-boxed it too, but wound up tossing it.

After I evaluated everyone's lack of eating, I wished I had complained. I just hate treading down a "Karen" path. Everything was a misfire. The worst part was the meal was $93. We ate maybe $35 worth if it.

The server was nice enough. Seemed young and newish, so a little unsure and worried I was gonna really get at him. He didnt have much help as the kitchen just didnt deliver. It was busy, but not really that busy so I dont think they may have overwhelmed or anything but I dont know. Still tipped but it wasnt much due to the kitchen's lackluster results.

All other Logans Roadhouses we've been to have been really good or great. This one was a big letdown. We're not from around here so we'll never come back anyways, but this particular restaurant wasnt very good.

French onion soup and fried mushrooms were so good the ribeye sandwich was also good, but the ribs were really dry would go again just not for bbq

Me and my 3 kids had the best experience at Logan's tonight. The manager went above and beyond with an extra maze for my kids and dessert! Our waitress, Brittany was so sweet and prompt! We really had a great time.
The food was okay.

We stopped by Logan's on our way back home from Memphis and we're glad we did. Everything from the perfectly cooked New York Strip to the delicious cocktails and Jeffrey who kindly waited our table were top-notch. Very reasonably priced as well. Don't think twice if you are in Lufkin.for whatever reason.

Our waiter wish i remembered her name was very professional and attentive. Food was great as well as the bread and butter

It took us over an hour to get out order. It was obvious the waitress wished she was any where but there! The last time we visited the restaurant the service was not good but this visit is the last time.
