Lone Star Black Belt Academy has really helped our son develop not just martial arts skills and physical fitness but discipline, accountability, and pride! The school is welcoming to all abilities and treats their students as family. You couldn't ask for a better experience for yourself or your children!

LSBBA has far exceeded all expectations! My two boys (12 and 7 years old) have been attending here for quite some time and I haven't a single complaint.

Every single instructor expresses great knowledge as well as great care for each and every student. They have done so well with each of my boys. My 7 year old has had a hard time with regulating his moods at his age and the instructors have shown that they can work with each student and help them, not just with karate, but with healthy skills to assist in their everyday lives. My 12 year old has struggled with confidence and can often be very hard on himself but the lessons he's been able to take from Mr. Jackson and all of the LSSBA staff has taught him to not be so hard on himself in many aspects in his life. <3

I have high respect for every staff member of LSSBA. They make classes informative without sacrificing care or fun. My boys look up to their instructors with positive opinions and the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcome and safe and you can trust that your children, or even yourself if you are looking for a dojo to attend, are in good hands!

It is an excellent place, my children love it, they have fun, they exercise and learn new things, it helps them a lot to form their character, they become disciplined and build their confidence, they teach them how to listen and be respectful.

Being an older woman, I was hesitant to try. But since my daughter, her husband, and both of their children are in the program, I joined also. It has been an amazing experience for me. It is awesome to see how Mr. Jackson and the other instructors support the kids and really lift them up. I would definitely recommend anyone of any age join this wonderful family.

We have been part of LSBBA for almost 3 years. This place is a family and I would never go anywhere else for my son. He has adhd and is on the spectrum…. And other dojos wouldn’t keep us. LSBBA not only welcomed us, but partnered with us to work on respect, focus, and the whole child. The Jacksons, Mr. Chris, Ms. Christy and all the other staff are all amazing.

We are very glad that our son joined Lone Star Black Belt Academy. It helped him grow as a student, build confidence, and be part of a competitive team. Mr. Jackson and his instructors are great role models to the students.
