Lone Star College Transportation Institute, Spring TX

The Staff was Very Nice, and Helpful and Enthusiastic about starting a new career, but I didn't enroll I just enquired, really nice people

This school I learn a lot and when I take it to the exam they tell me I fail Pretrip and they gave me 3 try & they all fail. I blame the examiner I had with me Max he fail me. And then when going to the office they blame you for the fault not the examiner.

I recommend this place if you want to get your class A license and land a respectable job soon after. Billy and Martin were my instructors 2 years ago and I have greatly benefited from acquiring my cdl here. The training is 2nd to none and very comprehensive. You get what you put into it. Do it, just do it! You won't regret it!

Couldn't have asked for a better staff, instructors and school for that matter, they are all very well educated, helpful and determined to help you succeed in every way possible. Don't get it confused though, you have to also do your part, they don't just hand it to you, you have to put forward the same amount of effort. I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE A HUGE THANK YOU, SHOUTOUT, AND ROUND OF APPLAUSE to Ms. Lorie, Ms. Patty, Mr. Hernandez, Dale, Billy, Mr. Raymond, Mr. Molina, Ed, Xavier, August, and if I left anyone out please except my apologies. Overall great school I’m glad I choose this school to get my cdl! I recommend this school to all students looking to get cdl!

Excellent instructors, Great program to learn how to operate a truck/tractor I’d recommend anyone seeking a class A Cdl!

I have really learned alot from the instuctors at lonestar one of the best schools. I dont believe there will be a better school out there. I appreciate all the instruction the teachers have given me. I feel I really will be able to drive my rig when I get my license safely and the way its supposed to be driven.

The whole staff is awesome! I highly recommend LSCTI for anyone that wanting to attain a CDL. All instructors did a great job teaching and guiding our class in tractor-trailer control. My truck driving confidence definitely started here and has had a huge impact in getting me where I am at right now with my trucking career. The whole experience with LSCTI was awesome and the money spent was worth it!

The instructors were amazing teachers. I learned so much from them. The whole transportation department are there to truly help you succeed and prepare for the future. I would gladly recommend lone star college transportation institute to everyone looking to obtain their cdl a and learn from the best. Billy, David H, Phil, Dale, Martin and Patti are some of the most amazing people that I’ve met and I’m glad that our paths crossed. I will forever be thankful and grateful for all I was taught. So I say again if you truly want to learn and understand trucking then join lone star college institute. Trust me, you will have no regrets.

A really great place to get the teaching you need to drive a semi truck and trailer. The Staff is excellent they help you every way possible. They helped me over 6 years ago get my CDL. I will forever be grateful of them.

This school is amazing! The staff are all professionals in the career field and very passionate about the course of study. They don't just teach you how to pass the test. They teach you how to drive a truck. I felt confident in my abilities and used what I had learned to pass my test the first time. What I learned from the instructors prepared me to start work immediately in the industry. I would recommend this school to anyone thinking about pursuing a career in truck driving. I enrolled in Lone Star College Transportation Institute to get my CDL so I could start my new career. The enrollment process was simple and affordable, I opted for the 6 week program. Not knowing what to expect because this was all brand new to me, I was somewhat nervous on my first day. The staff and instructors were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. My instructor was Will “Billy” Chapman and he was awesome! Billy would take the time and have the patience to answer any questions and help me along the way. The equipment and trucks we used for training were top notch. I had never driven a tractor truck before, but with the guidance and instruction I received from Billy, I had it down in no time at all. I was amazed at how much information we had to know to obtain a CDL license. We spent many days and nights on the yard practicing our pre-trip inspections, doing backing drills and just learning to drive a tractor truck. It was a great experience and I made a few good friends along the way. I highly recommend Lone Star College Transportation Institute, it was a great learning experience. Was the class and training easy? No, but they give you all the resources, training and instruction you will need to succeed so you can obtain your CDL. They even had recruiters from many different transportation companies come in and speak to our class. I studied and practiced and when the big day came to go do our driving test, I really felt like I was prepared. Billy drove us to the testing site and was very encouraging along the way. I was the first out of our group to test and to say I was nervous is an understatement. I just focused and remembered what I was taught and I am happy to say I passed all of the test on my first attempt. I was so excited and when I got out of the truck and Billy was standing there waiting and he was the very first person to congratulate me. I started a trucking job shortly after getting my license and it’s now been almost 2 years and I’m still driving my truck and enjoying my new career. Great job Lone Star!

Instructor David was very patient and has so much knowledge in the trucking industry he taught my class all about how to operate a rig on Texas Roadway I truly recommend this school and instructor to anyone that’s interested in becoming a truck Driver. Thanks David for all you have done for me! Billy, Lori, August, Martin, Phil, Patty, Ed & James thank you all as well for the opportunity! They believed in us and we all worked hard and Passed our test.
