Lone Star Oaks, Liberty Hill TX

We had our wedding at Lone Star Oaks in December 2023 and I cannot emphasize enough how much we loved this venue! We booked the More Than A Venue package, which was truly such a time saver since all the vendors work extremely well together and know the ins and outs of the venue. When there was an unexpected delay with our catering the MTAV team quickly shifted a few things in the schedule to cover the gap and our guests didn't even notice! The bridal suite is spacious and beautiful! My large bridal party was super comfortable getting ready in the space. The cherry on top is the "Something Borrowed" closet absolutely FULL of decor that is included in the cost of the venue. We didn't rent ANYTHING except for plates/silverware and we did not purchase any additional decor, they had everything we needed to make the ceremony and reception beautiful. This is such a time and money saver! The owners are so kind and helpful with the wedding planning process. We truly could not be happier with our decision to get married at LSO!

The venue was fabulous using their recommended wedding coordinator beware. We hired Elissa found out later that she was actually the daughter of one of the owners. That was not disclosed. Signed contract stated March/April she would reach out to start going over everything. I heard nothing sent email nothing. Finally texted and appointment was set to meet 5/1/23. Wedding was 5/19/23. She said she had been going through a lot with her dog dying and her sisters wedding. Go through set up ect. Ask about the gold chargers did they have enough for 100 or did I need to order was told they had plenty. Day of wedding no gold chargers told that lone star oaks got rid of them they week before. Even though I specifically requested them. During set up Elissa tells me “they think I may have a blood clot so I may have to leave to go get an ultrasound”. I was speechless. She did NOT end up leaving to have that done. She said leave out stuff I will decorate the welcome table. It literally had a card box and a sign no other flowers decor ect. It was very frustrating that I paid her 1000 dollars for her services and yet if it wasn’t for me reaching out ect no contact. Unprofessional to say the least. Would highly recommend venue but find your own wedding coordinator for sure!

I had my wedding here April 2023 with the more than a venue package. To start, this is a beautiful venue with the oak trees and the stained glass doors. The building has everything a wedding needs from bridal suite, catering room, bar, nice bathrooms, decorations room and grooms suite. Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful which made wedding planning a breeze. Every vendor (including the vendors outside of the package) we worked with always had compliments for this venue and the owners and we could definitely see why. I had looked at several venues around Austin, and this was by far the best choice due to the more than a venue package, reasonable pricing, and overall accommodations of the site. It was exactly what I wanted. I don’t write many reviews, but I could not recommend this venue enough! Michaila was our day of coordinator and she did a wonderful job of making sure everything went smoothly on the day of our wedding and helping with planning in the months before!

The location was beautiful. Janna was super kind throughout the whole process. It was easy and smooth. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, it was such a beautiful spot to have a ceremony and reception combined.

We went to a friend's wedding. It is a beautiful venue. Well kept, spacious and nice reception and wedding areas.

We had our daughter's wedding at Lone Star Oaks November 2022. We first visited the venue back in early 2022 and my daughter feel in love at first sight. The owners were wonderful during the entire planning process and responded to questions quickly. The Something Borrowed Closest is a blessing. You can slash your decor budget and decorate your entire wedding using items available from the Closet. During the course of the year, the venue invited brides to attend "Play Dates" which allowed you and a small group of family and friends to pull items from the Closet to try out different "visions" and to plan your venue set-up and decor - both inside and outside. The outdoor wedding ceremony site is gorgeous, with stained glass doors and a large oak tree to get married under. The day of our wedding it was drizzly and cooler than expected. But the venue owners had the ceremony area dry by the time our wedding started and made sure the outdoor heaters were ready for the cocktail area. Special thank you to the owners who graciously attended to my family even before the wedding. Lone Star Oaks is a wonderful venue.

I tell you what, I've been privy to a LOT of the uppity places here in town and while this is NOT that, it damned sure competes and surpasses some of them when it comes to hospitality. You still gotta deal with Barney Fife out there and his micro-aggressive SEMI-RACIST comments, but nothing too bad. The place is awesome! People are on point and the price, I heard, is very competitive. Check em out!

This was the venue of our dreams! When venue hunting, we not only fell in love with the venue but with the people. Dave and Mary gave us the tour and we instantly clicked with them! They truly make you feel like family and really care about being a part of your special day. Their daughter, Michaila, was our day of coordinator and did a PHENOMENAL job! She made wedding day sooo easy for us! We didn't have to worry about a thing! Our guests RAVED about how beautiful the venue was and how every little detail was thought of. I really appreciated the communication between us and always felt comfortable to ask questions and received clear answers. They also have a HUGE closet full of gorgeous decorations that you are able to use which saved us a lot of money! I honestly cannot say enough good things! We love Lone Star Oaks and the people! 10/10!

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue to have my wedding! From Day 1 when my husband and I first toured the venue, Mary was incredibly helpful. Everything about the venue is wonderful; the outside is vast and secluded and the trees provide the perfect amount of shading for an outdoor event. The reception hall is equally impressive. The Bridal room is so spacious and is kept locked throughout the day so that all of your belongings are safe. I know my husband and the guys loved their space as well. The selling point for me was not only that it was perfectly within budget for us, but also their DÉCOR ROOM! A room where you can find all the little accessories to decorate without having to buy them yourselves. Janna and our coordinator, Elissa, took care of us throughout the day. They were so attentive and allowed us to enjoy our wedding without all the hassle and stress.

Recently attended a wedding at this venue. It was perfect and it's beautiful at night. Only complaint I have is the acoustics in the main building.

Beautiful venue. Had a company retreat for the day. Large hall that opens to the outside that has a covered area with bar top tables, open area with string lights. Off to the side there's benches for the ceremony and a bar area. There's a bridal suite inside with make up counters and lockers and a restroom for the bridal party. There's a photo booth area as well. It's absolutely serene in the day time I can't imagine how beautiful it is at night.
