If you love poker and want to play with friendly and very hospitable bunch of people, This is the place to go! We came from Oklahoma and found this place and they we all so welcoming. The Owner Jeffery was so very friendly! We appreciate you guys making us feel welcomed! Thank you all for a great experience! We will most definitely come back and play here when we are in this area!
Francine and Jacob!
Thanks for the hospitality! The wife and I enjoyed our two nights there. We will be back next time we are in town. Places like yours a make poker a blast!
I was in Houston for a short time and was looking for a big casino. Everything is quite far out and I was a bit disappointed, but then I stumbled upon Lone star. Wow, what an experience, the dealers are super nice and were patient with me as I am still not there yet. The other players were super friendly, and Jeff, the host is really nice. It's a small group of players so nothing fancy like the casinos but then again all you want is a fair game, and some nice players to play with. There are also some jackpots to win if you are lucky.
Great Place to Play. Lots of friendly Players and the Dealers do a fantastic job. Owner is super nice and makes it a very welcoming environment. Highly recommend!
This is a great place to play if you want to have a fun night of poker. Everyone there is friendly and enjoys playing for the sake of playing. Jeff, the owner, is a nice guy and just wants to make sure you have a good time.
Went to Lone Star for the first time this weekend and really liked it. There's a lot of action and the dealers are fast. The owner, Jeff, is great too and make sure you're comfortable. Loved the experience and will definitely be back
We always have a great time here. Good social gathering and lots of action Made a lot of good friends through this place. Dinner and games What more could a person ask for!
Great place to learn to basics of 1-3 NL, PLO and Bomb Pots. As with any game, proceed with caution. Owner is a great host. Free food each night. Dealers are professional and make sure that the game is run smoothly and correctly. A normal group of members play here for the enjoyment, and of course the win. Big games are on every other Friday with a 5/10 game (NL and PLO). Thay can be rather hard to play because of the higher level of action. None the less, it is a fun and safe place to play with a good group of people.
Lone Star Poker has the best action games, dealers, and management. I live inside the loop and highly recommend Lone Star poker Club. Lone Star Poker also rewards their members with multiple jackpots ranging from full house of the day, quads, and straight flushes. See you on the felt!
This place is really welcoming. Spaghetti and meatballs on cater. Nice group of players. Jeffery, the owner, is really nice and down to earth. I recommend this poker hall.
Dealers are fast and professional. Progressives aren't impossible to hit. Owner is a great host, and game has a great mix of action and table talk. Come check things out for a great poker experience.
Really enjoyed playing here. Not crazy play. Good dealers and owner is a great host. Played most all In Houston. But for me this is my choice.
I found this poker house driving off w18th street. The energy was positive and Jeff is a great host. The action can get crazy at times just like these PLO double bomb pots.
A nice and cool environment to play poker, thanks guys for the night and maybe see you around.
Best neighborhood game in town. Managed well. Dealers are solid and experienced. Good promotions with high hands and bad beat. Clean, safe, & FREE homemade dinners. So if you’re looking to sharpen your poker skills, double-up on the action, or expand your network of friends, go to LoneStar. Some great personalities there. Always love playing here!
Never take the time to post a review but this place is worth it. Nice atmosphere, great run game, and friendly players. I've played in tournies and cash here and recommend both.
