Los Comales, Rockport TX

This place has become my staple anytime I come to rockport. Servers are always good and I always like hearing the expo story about how the plates are hot. I loooove their beef fajitas. Their chips are salsas are perfect! One time though I didn't like that the smoke was coming from bar to our table. It took a minute to get everyone to comply to keep the back door shut.also, the dining room gets loud when full. But food so good I can live with that.

Best Mexican food around. Great service. Their chicken flautas are my favorite. It's always busy but the food comes out quickly and hot and fresh.

Everything was just great! Food is delicious and the staff were friendly and were awesome!

If you around in Rockport you need to stop by to eat at this Mexican Restaurant. Great service and best margaritas around this area.

It has not changed much in the past 13 years. Food is not as good as it used to be but it is still delicious

Got seated promptly but that’s about it. Asked what good Fajita so ordered 2 fajita tacos peppers and onions. Add jalapeño taco meat was diced like for street tacos. More onions than meat. Beans bowl only half full and the were cold. Ordered queso brought enough chips for half of it. Drinking ice tea never refilled no follow up on table. Wife needed more salsa for enchilada 15 min to get. Just sad. Told manager nothing Scared to think this is suppose to be the best in town

Being from DFW (home of many MANY Tex Mex restaurants) I decided after looking online at places and reviews to give it a shot….
Very busy place, good food and service… salsa is great, they have a spicy red salsa and a green creamed salsa that’s amazing. We shared fajitas and enjoyed them…. Talked to some very friendly locals at the table next to us while there as well that said they were weekly regulars. Definitely recommend Los Comales.

This place is so good! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. I had chicken/beef quesadillas and my husband had the beef enchiladas plate. Good portions and also the small guacamole dish. Everything was just absolutely delicious

They have roaches in the ladies restroom so the kitchen is probably full of them. It's noisy. Can't tell you about the food because we went to the restroom before ordering. Told a staff member about the bug problem and they didn't seem to care.

We dined in had a 25 minute wait to be seated, The waitress was very nice and friendly took our order. We noticed the waitresses didn’t bring our food and big guy that works in the back brought our food and most of our food was cold. We didn’t complain as we left the restaurant we noticed a signs on the way out Sorry absolutely not refunds. Now I know why, if you order sweet tea it’s $3.00 and if you order unsweetened it $2.50, waitress could have explained it to because they have sugar on tables makes no sense on tea.

This place is a must eat when you're in Rockport! The food is fantastic, and don't forget your Dosaritas!

The food was ok but the service was terrible. The waitress had a horrible attitude and seemed irritated the whole time. I won’t be returning!

Great food! Atmosphere is good but very crowded. The service was great and our waitress worked her tables non-stop. Parking spaces are small and I almost couldn't get into my car. I recommend parking in the gravel.
