My daughters frames broke after only 2 weeks. I paid $20 for replacement frames They broke the next day! I I mean, did i pay $20 for new frames or did they just glue the old ones together? (THEY DID LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME AND THEY BROKE IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE THAT THEY DID THE FIRST TIME!)

Long story short: took a month to get me my prescription. I was calm and patient at first but after two weeks I had to fight everyday for them to get a signature from the Dr to give me my prescription. It’s like they didn’t want to give it unless I got glasses with them.reception is also very rude. Will never go back. You’re better off going anywhere else. Would give no stars if I could.

Bad service all around, don’t recommend you waste your time with his unprofessional run business.

First I was asked for a $50 copay that I confirmed with my insurance that I do not have. $0 copay per insurance I confirmed prior to the appointment. When I requested my prescription I was told the "Doctor" was on his way home and to come back. The "Doctor" was standing right behind her. After some heated words I was given a disgusted look from the "Doctor" as he signed the prescription. If this review did not turn you away, read the others.

Like all the negative reviews here, they will give you the run around when asking for your prescription. They also tried to charge us a $85 copay when in fact we have never paid such copay anywhere else. Called our insurance and they immediately called them on the spot and put the lady in her place. Daughter got seen for contacts and they gave us an eyeglass prescription that took over a week. Wife had to stand there and told thenm she isn't leaving until we got it. Now we have to wait again for the contacts one. Worse experience ever. Should've gone with my gut and the reviews.

The frames and lenses are over priced. I purchased designer glass prior to my new frames at this location, I paid 75 for fog free, transitional and designer brand lens. I regret coming here- their prices was double for just bifocals and low budget lenses not including transitions or fog free lenses. I had the same coverage and followed the rules of my coverage. I was told to try Walmart for an alternate option for fog spray

They give you eye results for diabetes not by doctor someone else and not in your visit.have to keep on calling to know results.eye prescription for glasses is a day after you are seen.disappointed.they do charge right away

Horrible office management. They refuse to give you your script if you don't buy eyeglasses from them. You can be calling them and asking about your script and they still won't release it.

Dr. Vásquez is very knowledgeable and highly attentive to his patients. He listens to their concerns and provides detailed explanations. He has the latest technology/eyewear inventory and is always seeking best practices, which are evident in his approach/ diagnosis/prescriptions.

I called to book an appointment and told them our insurance company. They said the only time we could be seen for that was a Wednesday morning. We drove in from Brownsville, filled in paperwork, waited to be seen.and were then told the doctor is actually out of network with that insurance and we couldn't be seen at all.

Do not visit this place. The prices for the glasses are a straight up rip off. When we declined to buy their glasses the lady followed me to my car and tried to offer me a lower price. Next time don't try to rip people off and just sell the glasses at their price. I've been trying to get my son's prescription for two days now and, "It's not ready yet. " No eye clinic has ever refused to give me the prescription I paid for. This is the worst eye clinic. DO NOT GO HERE.

Never got my eye prescription.need it so i can leave to work im a otr driver.they said they would email it to me guess not.its Friday now have to wait till monday.poor service.they wanted me to buy my glasses there i explane that i was from out of town.they said dr was busy to sign prescription.

Lost my business. From the second we walked in the staff had attitude. Except for one girl. Doctor seemed like he wasn't really interested in his job. One lady told me I could pick glasses from 2 small sections and never once told me the price for anything. No one called me when they said they would.

A friendly and enthusiastic staff, Dr is very profesional.great variety in brand glasses, affordable prices for those who are not looking for specific brand. Best in Cameron County!

I was not given my prescription on the day of my eye exam. 3 days later, I am still waiting for the doctor to sign it. I paid extra for a 3d eye xray and still have not got any of my results of all the testing from the doctor. Clerk only told me all was ok. I asked for a copy of my medical records from my visit and they told me it would cost me $50! Outrageous! I have visited many eye doctors in my life and never have I experienced anything like this.

Dont waste your time or money here. They give you the run around when you ask for your prescription and the receptionists are rude and can never answer a question its like they dont know anything.soo annoying they deserve ZERO stars
