Lotus Seafood reviews
17Louisiana fried rice lobster, crab legs, a pound shrimp with egg potatoes, corn and sausage with a Hurricane and sour Apple drink was amazing
Everything is on the salty side. Went for the fried lobster and rice, as well as got some other orders. Since I had seen it on Instagram. Was not really impressed by the sauce at all. And low key key kinda gritty. But 3 stars bc hey I love seafood. And despite the line I feel the order came out reasonably quick and i was able to hear on the loud speaker from inside my car. (Couldn't wait inside due to too many people). And nobody really wears a mask so be prepared for that to each is own. May try again in the future. But nothing I'd drive 45 mins for.
Horrible. I will never eat here again. I didn't finish it. I will give the rest to someone asking for money at the red light. I ordered crawfish rice. Instead I got crawfish crumbs hidden in rice. Probably 10 total. I ordered lemon pepper wings instead when got in my car and opened it I got some dried out attempt at Buffalo wings. More like yesterdays wings tossed in spicy ketchup. I usually go to their Brasewood location. I've been there multiple times and recommended to it to my clients. But this Kirkwood location's tables were dirty and staff looked like they were just.chilling in the back. Big white dude at the register swiped his nose upward from the fingertips to bottom of his palm and taking orders. I prayed he was nowhere my food. The only positive was the dude with dreads who took my order displayed excellent customer service skills. I wished the food could have matched it. Definitely going back to Brasewood.
Reasonable wait with large crowds (after college game).
My loud pack didn't taste the same on this visit and my crack sauce was salty and gritty.
Had high hopes after seeing tiktok ad. Drove 3 hours to Houston and thought we would try it. Catfish was over cooked and mushy, fried shrimp were average, fries that had seasoning we're good but they were few and far between. My daughter's said the the rice was ok I didn't try it. My youngest (9) found the first chicken nuggets she didn't like. Wife liked the lobster. We eat a lot of sea food being from the gulf coast. Definitely won't be coming back to this place. Don't believe the hype. Also my order was mixed up no big deal. I took it back after opening it. They took it and swapped it out. Found the ticket the food I received went to and out the now closed box into their bag. I didn't do anything to it but with everything going on I wouldn't want food someone else has already opened and investigated.
The worst seafood experience I have ever had. Lacked flavor. My food was swimming in water. They use precooked shrimp. And the icing on the cake was that one of the meals included a piece of corn that looked to be eaten off of already. Pictures that are featured on the website should be taken down for false advertisement. Yuck
This place was super crowded but the line moved really fast. The service was good and the food & drinks was good. If you go here let the gentleman with the dreads make you a drink his way literally let him pick for you, you won't regret it. He's a vibe forsure definitely will come again.
The rice of super dry and not what I ordered the fish is artificial now at least it tasted artificial
I’ve been coming to Lotus for years. They have the best seafood. No matter what location you go to, the food will be consistent.
The "Crack Sauce" isn't what you'd expect on flavor
It's 100 percent butter with color, hardly any flavor.
I would just like to say that I feel the fully loud pack is extremely overpriced For what you get. You get more rice than anything else on the plates and the shrimp are very small as well as the potato. The crack sauce is very oily and garlicky But I guess if that’s what you like. I have ordered other food from them before like the hotbox and I feel like it’s not worth $40 you got a few pieces of snow crab is very small and just not worth it
Ordered fish with a salad but could've been separated from each other my cheese was melted on the fish and not enough dressing for salad, overall it was good.
Had ordered fried shrimp with fried rice.
Could not finish the shrimp tasted like soap. The rice bland will never eat from this restaurant ever again
YUMMTUMMYUMMYUMMY I found this place on Instagram and am soo beyond happy that me and my sis-in-law tried it today with zero complaints. Just YOMYOM!
Food was super good. Flavors on the crab legs, and shrimp was amazing with the butter on it
The food was good, probably would’ve been better if we were able to eat it right away. The staff was cool, friendly and helpful. The menu was a little confusing and unclear. So we had a lot of questions at the register. Could use a better menu breakdown.
Not sure what the hype is about, it’s bland. There is no flavor. I had their “loud pack”, great variety no flavor, their signature sauce “crack sauce” doesn’t even have a taste to it.
