Lourdes Grotto & Tepeyac de San Antonio reviews
13My father went recently to the gift shop and was requested for ID. I've been there previously and have never had such an occurrence. Such abhorrent behavior from staff, can hardly call these people of God.
Very peaceful and beautiful place to pray. The Virgin of Lourdes is beautiful and will always intercede on your behalf.
Beautiful holy place Wonderful lovely people what more could we ask make a pilgrimage here divine feminine and divine masculine and may you be blessed and crowned all your days though art loved Blessed be the light brothers and sisters
Great silence and reverie, peaceful, serene, good breeze and colorful wildlife. A sanctuary from the busy bustling world beyond the street. Life reaffirming tranquility and steadfast focus on the spiritual.
Awesome place for prayer and meditation. It’s very relaxing and able to get holy water as well.
Nice place
Dedicated on December 7,1941. To honor their patroness, the Oblates of Mary Immaculate of the Southern U. S. Province erected the Grotto, the most perfect replica in America of the original Shrine in Lourdes, France. It has become the spiritual center of the Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate and Oblate Missions.
Great service.
Lovely people.
I shed tears of gratitude and love several times.
Thanks be to Jesus.
Beautiful and peaceful place! A place where you can find serenity. It feels like an oasis in the city. I will definitely visit The Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes-Tepeyac again.
Profoundly peaceful. One can feel the connection with the Virgin of Guadalupe in that place. Our favorite place in San Antonio to go for prayers.it is truly a sacred place.
Beautiful quiet place to pray, reflect, and commune with nature! You can feel the Holiness around you. There is a chapel with a schedule of Masses posted. There's even a gift shop for religious articles and spiritual books. Restrooms are close by.
This is a very peaceful and beautiful place to visit if you want to feel close to the blessed mother of Jesus christ because of the pandemic covid 19 it was closed off for awhile and sadly public rosarys are no longer available there but if you want to privately say your own rosary and feel the presence of our lady of Lourdes this is the best place to visit also there are stations of the cross that can also be done please try and visit in San Antonio Texas you will not be disappointed.
Such a lovely and peaceful place. Garden is kept clean and green. Meditation path is easy to access. A nice place for photos. Historical cemetery behind, names of past priest, bishops, etc. Truly a hidden gem. Beautiful icons of Mary and a small Chapel, which houses a magnificent wooden sculpture.
My friend, Gary shared this sacred place with me in 1984 and I have visited ever since. You can purchase a paver to honour a loved one here.
