Love's Travel Stop, Amarillo TX

Came in and the crew was working behind the counter - I let em know I was in for a shower- told wm down the road was a 45 minute wait - so the gal taking care of me had some fun touting there store is the best that's why I needed to be there even with a mask on I seen the smile - and wouldn't ya know it my shower wouldn't open so back up I went and she immediately came out and grabbed my ticket and proceeded to assist me in the process to open the door that has a secret - yep a little more muscles yep having been in retail sales and management for 22 years and transportation for 21 this was for me a wonderful experience on attitude and customer service form the while team I encountered- by the way I believe Jennifer was thr gal who assisted me - she had a black shirt in so to me different than the rest I'd believe she was a lead or management- true pro - thanks This guy appreciated the above and beyond service

Employees need to learn the laws. I'm contacting home office. I know non smokers will have something to say. Really don't care. At the age of 62 I'm under no impression I look good for my age. They told me it's law to card for cigarettes. No it's law to card if you look 30 or under. They went mask free and opened 100% but want to card a senior for cigarettes. Give me a break. They can verify what I'm saying. Let me add to the fact their pumps are a mess. Def pump stretched out Def all over the ground and nobody even bothered to take care of it

I typically try to avoid Loves when I travel and not being able to do so this trip I am reminded why. I constantly travel with a 3500 long bed diesel truck towing 20’-40’ trailers. Unfortunately loves will not allow me to activate the semi diesel pumps with either my personal or my company card meaning I have to use the pumps for autos to get diesel. This is honestly the main reason I avoid loves, however on this trip I I realized they are outrageous on DEF. I needed DEF and since I was unable to use the trucker pumps to bulk fill, I was forced to buy it inside. For two 2.5 gallon boxes was over $40. To bulk fill is about $13 and to buy the exact same brand and box of DEF from virtually any other store is about $20. Way to go Loves, way to go.

I am a Truck Driver. I drove all night to get to this Loves location to get an oil change and pm. I dropped the truck off at 11am and it’s currently 5: 30pm and the shop workers still aren’t done. I’ve changed the oil myself with less tools than they have and it took me a hour tops. Then everytime I asked how much longer it’s going to be because I’ve been sitting in a lobby since 11am and been up since 11pm the night before driving, he says “we’re finishing up now” then hours go by smh Avoid the showers also, Shower 7 has Black Mold and the walls are falling apart. I walked over to the TA across the street for food, bathroom, and shower. Management needs to come in and fix this ASAP

The disel pump area to to small. So people don't like to come here's. And fuel prices to high

Nice people but SLOW in more ways than one. Slow on the register and trying to breakdown my door while Im naked in the shower? Look at the ticket and check the number on it you Tard! I know im sexy but this aint no peep show!

This Loves is deceiving from the outside but you walk in and are immediately impressed by the beverage, coffee and healthy snack choices.also great friendly service which is always appreciated.the only downsides are the water pressure in the shower is awful! And the fuel island are always crazy long.

Pretty much all the Love’s are the same, this one has a very large lot to park in.plus the next door proximity to the Texas DPS is a plus if you’re a Texas driver.

Not sure why this location is behind on getting the showers remodeled. This is pretty pathetic compared to all the other locations. Especially for how busy this one is year round.

Also unsure as to why they can't make the parking lot any better. 60% of the lines have faded and it's slowly turning into gravel.

They have big parking lot but their showers were not clean but there is a bar right next to it you can enjoy your night over there

Decent parking but for some reason people park randomly in the front by the scale even when there is plenty of spots open

The problem with loves is they know they have a lot of customers and keep building small stores everywhere and that doesnt help at all.so u always have to wait more than 30 mints sometimes over an hour for a shower also they have cheap diesel so everybody fuel with them and where u think all this ppl will go at the end of their shift of course here with 100 parking spots.thats ridiculous.what a big mistake u done loves yall will have to add a second floor with parking and showers in all stores

Had a horrible experience again! Waited at this loves for an hour for a shower we got our shower there were fleas! On the wall from the perape before us we walked in saw that and I went up to the counter and said I refuse to shower here it's to dirty I'm going to the ta! Way better experience!

Any one know if you would be able to sleep in your car for the night here heading to mi from az and looking for a place to take a nap

Plenty of parking spaces.

Remodeled food court nice, drivers showers glad to have them available to use, great amenities.godfather pizza ought to put a hit on papa " bad mouth" johns

Tire care sucks. Took them 5 hours to replace 2 tires and a mud flap. Then, they set the tires at 90 psi, instead of 110 like I asked, and they charged me $14 for new tire stems, but didn't replace them. They even put another guy in front of me and did a tire on his tractor, when I had already been waiting for over 2 hours. Now I'm a day behind for getting to Houston, because they took their sweet time and wasted my drive time. No plans to ever use Loves for fuel or tires any more.

Newer building but parking lot and fuel island are full of potholes, restrooms are so so definitely not clean as some other Love's. Employees are friendly.

Showers are “OK”. Water pressure and temp were awesome. They’re just a little dated. And $12 if you don’t have a Love’s card! Staff was really friendly and helpful.
