Lovett Dental Pearland

Wasted my day. I set up appointment week before appointment. Filled out online registration (with insurance). I get there and they "had to check" on my insurance (nationwide provider- not sure of problem). This apparently takes 2 days to do. I took the morning off work to sit in a waiting room for 5 minutes and be told - I could not have dental exam. This office claims same day service? How? I could not get in with an appointment. It would have been good if staff had checked in the day before if there were questions. Insurance had been provided at online registration. Poor office staff= loss of patient.

The team at the front desk is very patient and helpful! Raul is the best! He is so personable and loves his clients!

I can say I had a great experience since i scheduled my appointment to checking out. And the Front desk I believe her name was Stephanie. She explained the whole treatment plan to me and what I was looking at on my next scheduled appointment. The doctor the assistants very kind as well. Definitely going back.

I had an appointment today at 1 pm for an x-ray and cleaning at this location. I live about 45 minutes away minus traffic. So, I ensured I made it there 15 minutes early. I walked in with my 3 year old and my 9 month old sleeping in his car seat. You would think it would only be courteous to tell the woman chugging the heavy car seat down from the car and into the clinic that she would not be able to do anything if the kids were present or to even mention that no one is allowed to accompany me on this visit when I called to schedule the appointment. I have been told this by various doctor offices, respected, and made accommodations. However, this lady has the guts to see me walk in, fill my paperwork, ask fir my ID and insurance card, and decide at 1: 15 that I will not be seen because of my children. When I ask if I can ask my sister to pick them up who literally lives 5 minutes away, she refuses snd tells me my appointment will take an hour snd then it will go into the lunch break.so, if my children weren’t present, wouldn’t it still take an hour? Why did you book me at that time slot? It was very obvious that she did not want to provide me the service for whatever her reason. She had to take off her mask fir some reason at the end to repeat the same sentence she repeated fir me the past 3 times and I clearly understood but she obviously seemed to use that as a tactic to evade my response. She was very very rude and I did not see proper covid-19 practices being followed. Also, who brings patients in while the room is being painted? Just sitting in the waiting room inhaling that paint as it was being applied honestly gave me a headache. Do not go to this location if you want to be treated with respect.

I loved my visit to this office! Dr. Hathaway was very informative and easy to speak to. I needed a few things done, but Valerie made sure to walk me through my options. Honestly without the continuous calm and sincere approach given to me, from the moment I walked in to the minute I left, I would not have felt easy about getting started. Thank you all for being so supportive! See you in six months.:)

This dental office is really really bad. The front desk person has no sense of responsibility to her job. Otherwise, they intently cheat the customer to cost much money in their office. I wouldn't like to this office any any more!

Wasn't a fan of my first experience with my newborn's first dental appointment at! We were not greeted once we walked in it was not a friendly vibe. The receptionist seems to had an attitude when they ask me for my insurance card as well as when they gave me paperwork to be filled out. When it was time for myself and my child to go back the office was messy.personal items were everywhere it was not clean or well-kept.when the dental assistant came in he didn't introduce himself and he seems have thrown items around with an attitude like he didn't want to be there. When the doctor came in she was nicer than everybody there but she didn't introduce herself and we didn't know that she was the doctor.all in all my personal experience just wasn't the best so I won't be taking my children there again. I understand that we all have things going on in their personal life but if you're going to be working in an establishment that caters to children you need to have a little bit better of an attitude!

The office staff was extremely professional, I felt so comfortable and at ease. Dentist was extremely gentle. Had a great experience.

Wife needed a root canal. She was told that they would “try to save the tooth” and that it would take around 3 hrs and cost over $1500. Then if that didn’t work they’d have to remove the tooth and do a bridge or implant, which would of course cost more. We went to an endodontist instead and he did the root canal in 45 minutes and said it was very routine and normal. Cost us $450. We decided to try Lovett for the crown, and were quoted over $1000 for that, with insurance. We’re going someplace else. Had we done everything with them, we would have been out over $2500 and who knows if she would have even been able to save my wife’s tooth. It seems like a place to get your teeth cleaned, but that’s about it.

Excellent service! From beginning to end of my cleaning appointment. The front staff is very nice and professional, doctor and hygienist very caring with patient care. I would definitely recommend this office as your dental home!

Kind & caring staff & doctors. Easy to schedule, have corrected many issues our past dentist did not address.

Great service! Loved how kind everyone was there. My daughter threw a fit I was trying to stop, and they were so incredibly patient with her. She eventually calmed down, and none of them showed any signs of frustration. Will definitely come again if i'm not too embarrassed lol.

Amazing service. Front desk was very kind and informative. I got a cleaning done and sister got a root canal. It was a comfortable experience and will definitely recommend it to friends.

The office staff was so great and helpful, as well as the surgeon was great along with the assistants, my only reason for not giving five stars was due to the wait, which they all apologized for. My appointment was for 11: 30 but won't get into the chair until almost 1: 30.

Do your research! Dr. Knox is no longer at this location for the last 2 -3months! I had an appointment 12/20/18 with her and was never notified that she has been on leave until a different doctor than I booked with was referenced. Not only was I not pleasantly greeted once I walked in but the host also tried to get me to sign a document without explaining or showing me the referenced document I was confirming that I read! The hygienist was nice and recommended I needed a deep cleaning that would cost over $200 supposedly with my insurance. I was denied a regular cleaning until I had a chance to think about the cost and told my insurance would only cover this particular type
Of cleaning but not at 100%. I should have insisted she call my insurance company to confirm but I waited an called myself. I did end up have complete coverage for the item with only a copay of $40! I’m so happy I walked away from these con artist! Don’t waste your time here! Keep looking for a better dentist office that looks out and takes care of their patients! On top of that I was waived good bye after declining the cleaning with NO tooth brush, no floss, or tooth paste offered! Now what dentist do you know that lets you leave empty handed!

Took my daughter here for her teeth to be cleaned and it took all of 7 minutes for them to clean her teeth. The guy work her on for a few minutes and then off to another patient and then back to her and back to the other patient.super rushed job.horrible, you couldn't even tell that they had been cleaned. The dentist although was very nice and seemed to know what she was doing. But in will never go back here again.

DO NOT USE LOVETT DENTAL CHAIN OR THIS LOCATION YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM NO STARS! I have BEEN trying to get my daughter to see a pediatric dentist since last month, she had her eval I was quoted a price and TOLD by the pediatric dentist that they would do all her fillins and sealants in ONE VISIT I was ALREADY UPSET because of the amount of sedation they wanted to give my 4 YEAR OLD! But was like ok she would only get sedated ONCE so lets get this over with. I THEN get a call from the pediatic scheduling Manager Melissa that the doctor had a family emergency and had to reschedule.she THEN tells me she has to reschedule me for TWO DIFFERENT appointments because the doctor "may not" be able to do my daughters fillins and salants all in ONE DAY I told her NO THATS UNACCEPTABLE because that would mean I would have to PAY TWICE for TWO sedations to be done one TWO different dates AND THATS NOT WHAT I DISCUSSED with the doctor she told me well I would have to take that up with the doctor because they dont know how my child would act, but YOUR SEDATING HER! With NOT ONLY GAS BUT A LIQUID TOO! WHAT CAN SHE DO BESIDES BE A ZOMBIE! I was TOLD AND WARNED BY MANY OF MY FRIENDS WHO ARE DENTISTS about LOVETT DENTAL BUT DID NOT LISTEN, they stated that they nickle and dime you. I hate I didnt listen. I now have a 3rd appointment and I have to wait to see if the pediatric dentist will show up or not.so much for using my FSA account. NO HELP AT ALL!

Got overcharged for routine semi-annual teeth cleaning. My insurance companey called them to refund me. Have been waiting for one month and did not get refunded despite called the office a few times. So be carefule about the fees they charge.

My first visit today as I have become very disenchanted with my last dentist! They are great! Friendly, professional and great information. I am sad I didn't come sooner as I had issues they were never addressed at my prior dentist's practice. Definitely a good experience!
