Lowe's Home Improvement, Austin TX

Lots of stuff! Maybe even the stuff you are after. I found the prices to be competitive and mostly reasonable. Best thing is they don't contribute to politics I oppose. I use to shop Home Depot now I spend my money at Lowe's.

The garden center was nice, didn't have to go into the store because two checkouts were open out there. Shady parking if you look. Also had keys made.

Consistently poor in-store and curbside pickup. Repeatedly been emailed that items were ready when they were not. Repeatedly pulled into curbside, called the number on the sign and no one answered. Repeatedly pulled into curbside, clicked the "I'm here" button in the app, and no one came to my car. Politely mentioned these concerns at the service desk and they couldn't care less.

A manager is never to be found in this store. They are always under staffed. Drive 10 mins north and go to round rock Lowes or 10 mins west to shoal creek. This is the worst Lowes ever. Horrible management.

Lowes employees are always very helpful. If you look like you're searching for something they always offer to help. The exact opposite of Home Depot.

Julio "long hair" from the appliances department went above and beyond his customer service skills with us, we came in for a fridge/washer/dryer and he helped us find the right models for our needs plus had a manager override their system to a earlier date delivery since we explained to him that it was a priority for us!
Fyi: he loves dogs and wasn't bother by our puppy being there.

Difficult to find what you're looking for. You can "locate" the item online and it's supposed to tell you which aisle and bay it's in, but the information is.inaccurate and it can be hard to find an associate when you need one.

Had the tool despite its rarity. Allowed plumbers to do their own thing after the blizzard, sorting and stacking the small pieces they needed for work which probably saved some lives to be honest.

I have to say Lowe's has put a smile on this face of mine. They were out of starter logs so an employee informed me of technique to use untreated 2×4's for my starter logs and were more than happy to cut every one to the size I desired. Basically, the employee was not having me leave there without knowing I was good on staying warm. Thank you ever so much Lowe's! @

I will not shop at Home Depot anymore due to the owner and everything behind the company and how they treat their employees. Lowes always has what I need and appreciate veterans with the allotted parking spaces which I really like. Please support your local Lowes!

Good customer service. I wish the big box stores didn't have the same/equivalent products. I see no difference between Lowes and Home Depot.

Good selection of soils and both indoor and outdoor plants, better than the other major store. My only complaint would be that they move stuff around in the garden department and sometimes it can be hard to find what you're looking for. I saw the plastic liners for potted plants outside in the garden area and when I went back a few days later for more they had moved it inside in the back corner near the indoor plants. I even asked the garden center employee outside and she couldn't locate it. Finally I found it.

Every once in a while they have really good plant sales and you can pick up stuff for uber cheap.

Lousy service. No employees available. 2 registers open, over 20 people in both lines. And cashier says you have a survey, please give us a 10 on service. Wow!

I love this store. Employees are very helpful and take time to answer all your questions. My thanks to Michael the floor manager who helped me find all things I needed sticking with me for 40 minutes. My thanks to Darius and Melissa who helped me my blinds purchase by following up regularly with me. He helped me match the price Home Depot quote by working with his boss. My thanks to all the gentlemen that helped me tools purchase Michael, Sigurd, two older gentleman who are at Hardware section. And few more who I don’t remember the name’s. Lowe’s certainly is my first choice when it comes to getting something done for my new home.

Perfect experience. Bought a washer dryer combo, got a great deal with very knowledgeable employees. From start to finish, I can't complain. Great Job Lowe's!
