Lowe's Home Improvement, Conroe TX

Staff here generally very cooperative and even volunteer to help. One person at the cutting, drilling and other instruments section is very well-versed with almost every instrument on display and took time to advise the right one for our purpose in fixing our problem.

I drive a distance, past other Lowe's to come to this particular store because of the people and the cleanliness of the store.

I used to really like Lowes.a lot, but I'm seeing a trend here (and in many of the larger stores like Lowes) - not many available employees, always seems to be a few workers in a back aisle chatting and not really working, poorly stocked shelves (out of things or in the wrong place) often only self check out, etc.and the top management letting this go on, and on. I had to seek out an employee to help, then found out they don't have what they show to have, and the things we did buy we had a hard time finding due to misplaced on the shelf and then had to self checkout. Ended up going to a total of 3 Lowes to finally get what each one showed they had in stock.

I understand that finding workers has been hard for many companies, but I do believe that poor upper management has led to this over time. We shop at a lot of smaller stores now, and every trip to a large store reinforces that decision, whenever its possible.

Great product selection, but at the time of checkout, there's 4 self checkout registers open and 0 maned registers. I don't work for Lowe's, if you want me to checkout myself then give me a discount for my services!

The store was clean, staff polite. The store has everything you need to take care of your home from tools, gardening, cleaning products, etc etc

I went to 3 places that sell paint looking for a Barbie pink for a project. The two places I went before were really condescending and did not help me at all. Maggie in your paint department helped me get everything I needed for my project. She was knowledgeable and had amazing customer service. Thanks!

Ordered an item oblinw based on delivery time quoted. Sixteen days look later very little communication as to why the "delay" as they frame it. Still have not received? Lowes nor HD are skilled with online orders. Amazon rules!

Great place always very helpful. If you need a part for your mower or something try here 1st they probably got it over home depot.

Looking for a specific item we asked for help and a very friendly employee looked up the item and good us the number. At self-checkout, the employee was friendly smiling and helpful! Kudos

We were at the Conroe store off exit 88 to by a Style Selection Euro vanity. Although they showed two in inventory, they were both displays. We were informed that the "woodlands" location had 5. I asked specifically if the $189 price would be applicable and was told yes. When we got to the store the. Vanity was showing $199. I brought it to the salesman attention, he basically told be to take it up with the people upfront. Upfront I asked for a supervisor and waited a good minute, when one didn't come, I went to the back side of customer service desk and asked again for a supervisor. Phillip came out and he was more concerned about were i was standing than trying to assist me. After I explained to him why I need assistance, he rudley told me that he couldn't change prices, "the price is the price"! A little more back and forth with him, he finally said "since its just $10, I'll GIVE YOU the price. " Well! Definitely could have come across better if he had said honor, since that's what I was asking. Don't know about you, but for me Lowes customer care has gotten worse over the years. Time to take my business elsewhere!

Lowe's is the best place for home improvement. We shop here often. The customer service is excellent.

Store is Okay sometimes. Used to have great staff I was pretty close to but most of them have left. They don't often have many people working in the aisles. Nothing home Depot right around the corner can't help you with. We do shop here every once and awhile for certain tools but not all that often. For building materials we go to home Depot.

I came to this store because they showed to have 8’ flat top cedar pickets. After not finding them anywhere in the lumber department. I finally found someone who worked there and was informed that these were all the way across the store in outside gardening, so I go to the farthest part of the store from lumber to buy, lumber.

The associates in outside gardening were obviously lacking in training and left what I would call, a less than safe situation, and when we ask them to correct it, they didn’t know how work efficiently or safely either.

I asked the young man on the forklift to move the fence panels and when he did he had the metal for the forks under the i-beam for the wood rack and made to forklift do a nose stand, then he said “it’s too heavy” so he got some pickets down by hand

To top it all off, they took me to the 7’ flat top pickets, so I waisted 45 minutes of my work day watching Lowes employees struggle with lack of training only to have waisted my time and I wound up buying the pickets I needed elsewhere.

Finally after 22 minutes on hold for customer service, when I said I would like for someone to call me back, I was told “ I’m sorry for the unsafe conditions and lack of help, but I can’t guarantee, you will get a call back”

So at least I know what Lowes thinks of its customers, we are not even worth a call back!

Poor management, if you have a problem they disappear faster than you can blink!

Save yourself the trouble and go to Home Depot. They are way more professional and helpful!

We usually come here because it's seldom busy. Today we had a few bigger ticket items and the only checkout open was the self checkout. One item rang up $30 more than the posted price. After a half hearted attempt to help from the "checker", 2 calls for a manager, and my husband walking back to take a picture of the posted price, no one showed up to help and we ended up leaving the item. If you only offer self checkout then at least have competent, quick assistance when something goes wrong.
