Restaurant Luby's reviews
18Disappointed with your failure to prepare the food based on the UBER EATS ORDER placed at 1p.m. Today. Driver on time. Did not receive utensils, Iced Tea or order of Mashed Potatoes. Mike (Manager) on duty you did not really seem to care when we spoke via phone at 5: 10p.m. Today. It was not about the money or credit Refund due. I even put in order notes (Please have staff double check the order and make sure it is correct) before releasing to the Driver. Then you have the audacity to question if I included the (2) Items? Check the ORDER PANEL. Oh well, slow down, read take your time, have a Quality Check 2nd eyes verify. No need to rush. I could see it if it was 200 orders, could not even get 1 order correct. Will keep it moving. God thank you for daily bread.
This food is always fresh and hot and a customer service is always a one!
Miss Gabby is one of the young ladies that works the floor and she is always kind and has exceptional customer service
I love this place. To me it's a Texas treasure and more people should stay going before they disappear. I love the liver and onions with double Mac n cheese.
This is the last bastion for cafeteria food.because as nice as Cleburnes is, the food there is just okay. Anyway, this location gets lots of traffic. The food is good and fresh and the restaurant is clean. All of the employees wear masks and gloves.
I had not visited Luby's in YEARS and wanted a nice hot meal. Food was awful. I was terribly disappointed! I through away most of the meal and left hungry still.
The team member/manager who took my togo order was rude and the salads that used to be fresh and made to order are now "pre-packaged " and sealed. They no longer have cheese or croutons available to guests or so I was told. The quality has gone way down. I have been going to this location for over twenty years and the price just doesn't match the service or quality.
The Stafford location should be closed, it’s old and dirty! The food here is just not living up to the expectations of what the other Lubys restaurants. I ordered a simple chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and corn, the mashed potatoes were bland and the gravy tasted and had the consistency of water. When I told the manager about it his response was “ Well I’m looking at it and it looks fine to me. ” I’ve been eating lubys for over 20 years and never have I gotten that type of gravy, it was horrible and they should be ashamed to sell something like that! I won’t be eating here ever again, I’ll just go to Cheddars.
I love Lubys, my favorite place for Sunday dinner. My favorite meal is liver and onions; sides corn and green beans. Jalapeno cornbread.
This location needs an update inside. The food was good however, the women's bathroom was so bad. Very dirty, smelled bad and was in desperate need of attention.
Are you serious? There needs to be Luby's in every city in America. I grew up eating at this particular one, but they are all awesome.
Grew up eating at Luby's with my parents and grandparents. My favorite is still chicken fried steak, green beans, macaroni and cheese, jalapeño cornbread and peach cooler. A classic.
Seems to always be busy during afternoon/evening, food is always hot and fresh. Table servers very nice and courteous, which is why I tip generously they deserve it.
Got the chicken fried chicken, corn and mashed potatoes and a cupcake. I really need you all to season the food I understand that every person can't handle salt but it can wake up a meal. I will always love this cafeteria great dressing and fried cod fish I should have stuck with my normal.
The food was so good, and the staff was friendly. We can tell the food is made from scratch. We never ran out of refills.
Picked up lunch for four plus coconut cream, cherry, and pecan pies and carrot cake for dessert. Generous servings, fresh taste and plenty of choices.
I would've givin this location a 4.5 cuz bcus us how I was treated while dining there. Spanish lady that was serving someone else went & made my lunch plate, dessert & all & brought it 2 my table. May not be a big deal 2 everybody but 2 me it meant a lot cuz she seen I can't walk rite now or do it 4 myself & she had no problem & did it with a beautiful smile. Now that's what I call "service". I wish I remembered her name.
My brother wanted to eat here, but I was skeptical. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed my food. It was tasty and seasoned well. My sister enjoyed her liver and onions, but she didn't like the creamed potatoes. I also was surprised at how much food I received. I thought I was getting a piece of chicken, and I got a half a chicken. I was able to eat off of my plate twice! The food is affordable too!
It was very crowded. They should have both cash register open to help facilitate moving the line along. The floor staff, the lady came by one time. I didn't see her anymore.
