Luby's, Brownsville TX

I had a fantastic experience. I brought my girl for a date since it was her first time here, and she loved it. We had 2 waitresses that were very attentive. The food is always very filling and I even had leftovers. Warning it can get pricey once you start going all a la carte. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be returning to try that chicken fried chicken.

My very first time at this Luby's. Been to the one on Boca Chica several times when it was open. This place is clean and good help. Will I cone back, yes for sure.

Where do I begin, most of the trays were either wet or had soap on them, I had to get one of those cloth napkins and dry it myself. The server attending us was either having a bad day or that's her demeanor. Totally dissatisfied.

Our place to go after mass on Sundays. Heads up, it's always PACKED. Like line overflows to outside the mall. It moves fairly quickly but there's a lot of people clustered together. Food Options are great. We tend to order fish something; almondine, fried or spinach. This time it was over cooked and tough, so sometimes its a hit or miss. Our baby loves the Mac n cheese, broccoli and chicken strips. We could use a 2nd and larger location, preferably outside the mall.

One of the few left in Texas. The staff had been there for YEARS (20+) abs are very friendly and helpful. Not much has changed. If you've been to this luby's before, you'll know what to expect.

My first visit to Luby's and I had to ask how it is set up. The staff was friendly and accommodating. When I started to eat, I realized the greenbeans contained ham. I don't eat pork and a waiter quickly swapped my serving for a different option.

Sad place. Nothing healthy, just basic fried foods, vegetables with bacon. Either change up your selection or close up shop

Food is bland and flavor less. They charge you whatever they like and then tell you it’s because they don’t have the “button “ for it. I asked for steak and was charged $10.99 for medium well GROUND BEEF not steak. Bad bland food with no flavor and over priced. Hospitals have better food and for a better price

We were happy to see a Luby's in Texas.always loved their fried fish.white meat inside and a crunchy top.still was just as good.so much different items to choose from! But I wanted my delicious fish again.our waitress was attentive to our needs.

Over price. 3 plates with desert each $83 might as well should of gone to red lobster. Service people where rushing, " what else ma'am? " One after the other.like dam let me see the options first other then waitress did an awesome job!

Great place with great customer service. Very attentive. Picked up a whole pie. Highly recommend the Chocolate Ice Box Pie.

Same as it was last time.that we would never go back 2years ago but we we were craving some cold cafeteria food but it won't happen again. They should have closed them down like they said they were. Cafeteria food is always? Cold. Food is good but cold. Only thing that was hot was the jalapeño
