Luby's, Corpus Christi TX

My wife was needing a thanksgiving dinner and I chose not to spend this year and if it wasn't for Luby's she wouldn't have been able to enjoy the traditional thanksgiving meal thanks Luby's for another great thanksgiving meal.

This is a has been restaurant. Food is deeply overpriced. Restaurant looks dirty. Sat about 50 yards from bathrooms and they reeked like raw sewage. Had to use men’s bathroom and couldn’t handle the smell, it was filthy, no soap, no towels to dry your hands. I rate it a half star.

Plate was dirty, glass was dirty, they allowed people to come in with their smelly dogs. Tasteless Food!

My family and I have always lived eating at Luby's. I also take to treat my friends after church to a brunch there. Friendly, helpful and respectful service, and great and affordable menu. A super treat!

The variety of meats available should appeal to whatever you crave. All looked delicious. Portion size are good. Pick and choose what you want. Fish almondine was delicious. Salads and desserts were fresh.a nice place to share a meal with a friend.

Great place to go if you want to get a lot of food and be full when you leave. The country fried steak was excellent and so was the liver and onions.

The food quality here is terrible for the price that you pay (it’s expensive). Nothing is truly fresh, it’s all from cans. Both the salmon and cod fish tasted like the ocean and were dry. If you want bioengineered food with lots of GMO, antibiotics, hormones, this is your place. This place is not for the health conscious.

Dined in after several years, and we were very disappointed. To begin with, the line was outside the door, so we waited a good while to get through. When it was finally our turn, food servers weren’t very welcoming, if anything, I felt like we were being rushed through. Yes, I get they were busy, but I still wanted to take my time to order, since I hadn’t been there in so long. We never had anyone come check on us for refills or just to check if we needed anything. We had to get up and go ask the cashier for refills. The restaurant was very dirty, and seems like they have just let the place go. Food was good, but overpriced. As we were leaving we discovered we were charged for an extra slice of pie. Luckily, we caught it and they allowed us to choose another one, but were not very apologetic about it. All in all, I will not be returning anytime soon or probably, never again.

Food is always good, but the chicken fried steak was mostly bread. The flavor was good but a little disappointed won't get that again.

Always enjoy eating at luby's with their various choices of delicious foods and desserts and easy atmosphere makes it a fine place to dine

Food was good, service was great. Broccoli and cabbage were way under cooked. Still was nice.

Food always good. The to go lady is rude and has zero people skills. The last to go employee had the same behavior. I guess they don't like the job. Idk

The food was good. I had the luan plate and it was plenty. The waitress was great and very friendly. She made sure we were well taken care of. Had been years since I had been there, but I will be going back.

10/23 - Lunch with coworkers, got my usual LuAnn platter. Good food & service, thanks.
08/23 - Still good food & service. Busy at lunch time as expected but moved along well.
Food was good as always but prices have gone up like everywhere else. The service was also great as usual.

First time there.didn't know what to expect.ordered haddock; it was just okay - will not order again.got cornbread.it, too, was just okay - might order again depending on what other stuff i will be ordering.first time i had spinach made like that.asked the rep behind the counter what was in it.she had no response; just gave me that weird look.so I just asked her go ahead and gave me an order of it.glad i got it; will definitely be ordering again.also ordered a side salad.will check out the to-go option another day.it's located right next door to the sit-down part of Luby's.
