Luby's, San Antonio TX

Hands down, the worst luby's in the city, no straws, no paper napkins, the food had absolutely no flavor and the waitstaff is completely unattentive. No one ever came to assist my elderly, handicapped mother with her tray, I had to come back and carry it for her, after no one came to respond to the bell ringing. The "manager" in a ball cap walks around like a buffoon, totally clueless to his incompetence and the failure of himself, his staff, and his restaurant.

They have just about everything you might want to eat. Several different salads, many deserts, many entrees a couple of soups. They even have all the veggies you know you need to stay healthy. Give them a try.

Went in for lunch time and told them I wanted a grilled chicken breast the women working said we don't have any i told her if they can cook one for me she said NO i called the store manager and she told me that they did have some that it would take like 10 to15 minutes if she doesn't like her job maybe it's time to let her go

I love everything about this place but the prices. But if you can not afford wait for special occasions and try an all you eat special. Then all you have to worry about is overindulgence. Great staff, fresh food, outstanding selections. It's the bomb.

A spur of the moment Family lunch today turned out to be another one of the best memories for us to add to our history. Our waitress JoAnn with her wonderful attitude and disposition helped make "The Lunch" atmosphere so much better. We would like to give a shout out to JoAnn.

The service was great but the fort it's not like it used to be before now it's bad kid party event starting to get sick with the food from Luby's, like I did so now I don't recommend Luby's I thought service with the waitress it was perfect but not the food okay

Don't like going there to much anymore you have to give tips for nothing we take our food it was better when they had the cart going around and giving you tea they should pay the people there wages instead of us paying we like to go relex

We have come here for years, its in a centralized area between hwy 90, I-10, and somwhat for 410. Its very spacious with plenty of tables to pick from. There are many stores behind and around it for a day of shopping or bill paying day. This place is not over welling full or busy when we go but with how often its used it could definitely use some updating or a loving remodel. Still love it thou!

This remains to be the only lubys i go to. It always has fresh food and hot food. Ive been to others and have recieved cold food or potatoes with skins in it multiple times. But this one never fails to impress

I was so happy that Lubys had Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce. I hadn't had enough @ Thanksgiving. It was delicious!

Management really needs to be more professional when it comes to treating waiting staff and its customer's with more respect and dignity big lack of leadership on the upper management part yelling at waiting staff in front of customers

This place has excellent food. They surely don't skimp on there tacos. All the food here is delicious!

Great food but disappointed cause they did not roasted beef for my birthday today n I'm finally 55 a senior citizen and couldn't get my discount

Didn't like the fried fish family pack, it was cold and soggy the website does not say that it's half portion servings also they forgot to pack the cheese for my broccoli.will not order to go again.dine in only

I usually enjoy Lubys but this particular one was not up to par as far as food. Everything looked and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for too long. Fish dry and fishy, potatoes hard and chewy.

Overall a great place to dine in. David our server was excellent, Norma was helpful in the service line and the only bad thing was Nicole in the line who seemed bothered to help us with questions about the meal choices. Lubys was clean and had a friendly family environment. Great food.

Superb food as you'd expect. I love their desserts - delicious. Our server, Ms Anna, was attentive and on time.

Wasn't to happy this last visit, my husband and I weren't aware that the salad wasn't considered a side so we payed an extra 8 dollar's. It was $35 for 2 ppl. Compared to the $24 a few wks ago. Oh well they got us this time.

Have not visited Luby's, since about 8to10 years ago, at Las Palmas. Was surprise at the variety of good food, salad, pastries and drinks. Very nice setting!

Love this Luby's on the westside in Las Palmas shopping center. Always great fresh food, great service, nice people. Pecan pie is great, my favorite. Coffee is excellent, specials are great. If course the Luann platter is still a great buy.
