Luby's, Cypress TX

I love coming to this Luby's. All the staff is very friendly, welcoming, and courteous. I love their food! It's a shame it'll be closing in the near future!

It was a novel experience, very nice, clean, and simple. It was a bit empty but that could've just been the time. Definitely a fine place to dine out.

Please turn the heaters up on your food. Most of the food is just like warm. Nothing worse then getting food to eat in and then having to take it home to heat up.

Food hot, flavorful.
Only issue was the apple pie taste had sl stale flavor as if it was prepared cut and it didn't sale as expected so they just kept putting on serving line rather than discarding it. Otherwise dinner was awesome!

Well the place is out dated and the only thing I could say is the Mac and cheese is great but the Wait hovering over you is ignoring and I do not care for it I will not be back I will always remember the good days of Lubys

Always on time. Had a spicy roasted chicken. Everything was good. Finished with an awesome carrot cake.

I was placed on hold for 8 minutes I asked to speak with the manager yes they're really busy I expressed why such long hold time well my son told me you complained they're going to give you the hardest and oldest food well he was right, the chicken fried steak was not edible hard as a shoe. Never again this was the 290 and Spring Cypress location. Waste of hunger and money!

Food is good, but there are not any prices displayed where you get your food, it is just a surprise when you get to the register.

My husband and I picked up food to go tonight. We have eaten there before but tonight was terrible! The fried fish was hard and almost burned and extremely dry-the fried okra was soggy and the potatoes were dry and tasted 2 days old! They definitely need to step their game up if they want to stay open.

Went through drive-thru around 4: 00 pm. Ordered Luann plate. Ordered white meat FRIED chicken, mashed potatoes with no gravy, corn, jalapeno cornbread, and a piece of apple pie.

Got white meat roasted chicken with huge helping of dressing, potatoes with no gravy, corn, jalapeno cornbread, and pie.

I really dont like to complain but I stay away from roasted chicken because sometimes I dont like seasoning. I'm not a fan of dressing and I dont know why it was added. Maybe had too much and just added. I dont know.

Everything was good except apple pie. It had a funny taste to it. I ate part of chicken because when got to middle it wasnt done enough for me, and hardly any of the dressing. I just wish they would have gotten order correct. Thank you.

Fantastic lunch buffet, professional and friendly staff, great price ($11). Will most definitely be coming back. Chicken Kati Masada - perfect.tender, sweet, creamy. Delicious mango lasso. Great Pander dish, panorama's and assorted fry lings. Fresh salad and all that also.

I'm at home sick and I remembered Luby's has carry out and homemade soups and healthy fresh food, Not to mention the HUGE piece of Carrot cake my favorite The soup was outstanding and very filling could only eat half of the soup and the carrot cake was delicious, I always go there also for my Liber and onions cause nobody else will eat it but me, So I give that Luby's a 5 star, Thank you Luby's I am feeling better

Good consistent with a variety that you can count on every time. My issue however is they are understaffed more often than not on the line. They have numerous staff members doing other things but then have 1 person running the entire service line and two ppl most the time which really isn’t enough either. Cut back elsewhere

Food taste different that in other Lubys, I have tried different plates and they aren’t really good. I didn’t t like the spices they used in the potatoes.

We order our lunch to go at least twice per week. I love the selection of meat, vegetables, and much more! And did you know you can also order tea by the gallon from them? It's all a win win for us when we order to go or dine inside!

Yeah, I gave it a second try and still awful service. Food was good. Pls yal save the trip here. The one on cypress rosehill and 290 is wayyyyy better!

Decent food. Quality wasn't up to par today. Why am I pressured to tip someone that brings s star for my wife?

Went to the breakfast buffet on July 1. First the staff is very nice! But the food is for the most part horrible! The custom cooked eggs are good, and the chicken strips are good. The sausage paddies and links taste like they are weeks and weeks old and stale! The white gravy is absolutely horrible! Hash brown are dry out! Biscuits are dried out! Pancakes were ok! I had to give a one star only because if you don't give a star rating you can't leave a review!

My 18 year old daughter and I visit the breakfast buffet whenever she gets a Saturday off from her job at another Luby’s location.
We love the restaurant, quiet and very comfortable. The staff is is very nice, even the managers take time to greet you. Our waiter Pat is awesome. We have already completed the survey and called home office to say how wonderful he is!
This is our favorite Luby’s!

Ok. Stop. Are you over 60? Is there anyone in your family named Luann? Do you not have taste buds? If the answer to any of these questions is no then, what the heck are you doing even considering Lubys? They have lover and onions, if you hate yourself enough. I guess that's worth an extra star.
