Lucy's Restaurant reviews
24The chicken tacos are the best in town. And you can't get better machacas in El Paso. I only eat them here.
Lucy's is one of the number one. Mexican restaurants in El Paso, Texas. Many celebrities choose to visit this restaurant because of its reputation. I eat there because their food. Is excellent. The thing they are known for most is their machaca. It is outstanding. As well as the rest of the menu. Outstanding is the working word. Your service is excellent.
This is a very busy place. Please be patient with staff. Lucky's is connected to Kings X. They will bring what u want in a matter of minutes. Good food!
Waiting service is great, friendly and funny. The restaurant food needs to step up their game with the food. Dont get me wrong the food is not bad. I had the caldo de res and that plate was awesome. I ordered an appetizer of 4 tacos. And it was disappointing to find out they are just rolled up flautas smothered in a simple tomato sauce.
The Lucy's restaurant space is very small, it has a total of 4 booths and about 5 tables for 4 people. It is an old building a bit of an eye sore, however, the food and staff make up for it. It is connected to King's X Bar. The staff is very comfortable, friendly, chatty, and helpful. I recommend coming to this place and trying out their soups and their tacos. You could have a drink at the bar and order food from the restaurant or eat at the restaurant and get drinks from the bar next door. Very mexican delicious food.
I always enjoy my time and food at Lucy's. Service is great and I've never had a bad meal. Had Red Chilaquiles and Eggs for breakfast and it was delicious!
Really yummy local restaurant in El Paso. Breakfast was awesome. The place is older and rustic. The food was great and service was good too. Hadvhuevos rancheros for breakfast.
Quick plate of nachos with my wife. A filling, tasty snack if you are not hungry enough for the tacos Antonia.
Great scene for tasty Mexican food. Service is excellent even when they are busy. Nothing but great experiences here. The place has a good feel to it. I can see why they have a lot of good reviews.
Mexican food.super delicious. The staff was very friendly and kind. The place has a cool atmosphere.
Such a comfy place and the food is great. Always come here for a bowl of caldo de pollo when I’m sick
I Love Lucy's, a popular local hangout for years. The tacos with rice and bean plate is the most popular. Located across the door from The King's X Bar, for a cold beer to go with your meal. King's X also features pool tables, dart boards and flatnscreen tv's.
-Dirty coffee cup surprise crusties inside.
-Poor waitstaff
-Canned cheese chilli con queso
-Hacking owner manager
Don't bother stopping in here with so many other exceptional places to eat in El Paso
Unassuming exterior hides delicious, reasonably priced Mexican standards and sandwiches. You never go wrong with a burrito or the club sandwich.
Good food. I had the steak picado. The service was pretty good, but they forgot my silverware, finally got it after a little while. After all its always nice to have at least a fork. For a added bonus, they brought me some chicken soup, which was very flavorful.
Lucy's is always a great experience. Genuine home cooked Mexican meals. You really can't beat it and the price is extremely reasonable.
Excellent Mexican Food coupled with tasty and delightful family recipes enriched by historical and well known celebrities who seek great food at a low key environment at affordable prices.
The tacos, Antonia at one time were one of my favorite Mexican / Tex mex dishes anywhere. This time I wasn't impressed. The person I was with was excited to get charro beans with her fagitas and ended up not eating them becsuse they tasted "old".
I wouldn't make a special trip to go there.
I was just ok.
Came here in Yelp recommendation and wasn't disappointed. If you're looking for a hole in the wall restaurant with great food, this is it. Right next door is a great dive bar with TV's and pool tables. Excellent old atmosphere, attentive wait staff and no complaints in the food at all. You may drive right past it thinking it's a dive, but stop for lunch or dinner and you won't need disappointed.
Rolled into El Paso for Christmas and I needed a machaca fix on Sunday night. Lucy's inside of Gil Aikman's old haunt was open and came through as they have for many a holiday season. Lucy's is the last best hope in the Marxist wasteland.
