Luis' Corner Barber Shop reviews
21This is by far my favorite place to get my haircut. I am relatively new to Austin, and I've been to 4 other barbers and consistency was hard to find. Some cut great, then the next time, not great. Mario at Luis' Corner is one of the best barbers I have ever had, great fade, great haircut, he take his time and doesn't rush his craft. He is very chill and will talk to you if you prefer to talk, but he also seems to adjust if you prefer not talking much. The barbershop as a whole has that old school vibe, is clean, and comfortable. It's my go to place now, I highly recommend!
Had a great haircut, walked in and sat down. I was immediately asked if I had an appointment I said no… 20 minutes later I had a fresh cut, trimmed eyebrows, edged with a straight razor, and a quick loosening massage gun session to my shoulders and back… will return for another cut
Fantastic barber shop! The ambiance is casual and extremely inviting. Good conversations are had during your short wait. You can really meet some interesting people here! Luis, the owner, is one of the best barbers I've ever had. Extremely personal touch and detail-oriented haircut. Chris, one of the other barbers there, is also excellent. You'll be very glad you came here, as opposed to a "cheaper, run-of-the-mill" corporate barbershop. See y'all soon!
Hands down one of the best Barbershops in Austin. I’d recommend Luis’ Corner Barbershop to anyone looking for a great haircut from a great group of barbers.
1st time customer and loved every second of the experience. Great old school Barber shop. Extremely professional, smells awesome, and your treated like your business matters. Excellent shop.
Hair cut and a shave.
Old school barber shop. Great atmosphere. Walked in around lunch time and didn’t have a wait. The barber gave me a good looking fade. Decent prices, though you should beware of the $5 fee for using a credit card (i.e. Just pay cash).
Got a cut from Luis himself! Really funny and down to Earth guys in there, And he cut and beard trim was perfect. Will be back there when I'm in town again
Barber messed up from the neck side, paid him more than my hour salary to wreck my hair jeeeez. There are better barbers/stylists that cut your hair better for at least half their price.
So precise and careful. I appreciate the time spent, the conversation, and the care was palpable.
The place has been a barber shop since the 50s and the vibe is intact.
Great spot and I’d come again.
These guy's inside here are Top-notch! From the OG Barber chairs and Cool feedback and talk going on, I almost forgot to mention the perfect cut I got with only telling My barber once!
Luis' is a really great neighborhood barbershop. I usually don't call ahead and only wait 15-30 minutes for a cut. If it's really busy there is a sign in sheet if not a barber will be keeping track of who's next. I normally get a fade and all the barbers here do a great job. They take their time and aren't looking to turnover customers as fast as possible. It's a diverse crowd so they cater to a lot of different styles. I would definitely stop by an ATM before going since there is extra fees for credit card.
My 1st visit to this shop was great. Great vibes, good barbers. EXACTLY what I was looking for out of a shop, being new to the area. I will definitely be going back!
Very clean and professional. I always enjoy myself, great conversations and grea music. I always feel comfortable and is a very at home vibe.
Friendly barbershop, good prices, they are all skilled barbers. I've gotten cuts at other high-end shops that can't even do a proper fade for double the price. If you've been searching for a place that knows what they're doing, look no further. Tip your barbers! It's been tough with the pandemic.
This place is trash. They literally pushed my hairline back. Please don’t go there, I’m not just hating. Honestly they are terrible
Been a client for over a year now, place is always clean Good barbers, great conversations, and overall outstanding barbers. Central located if you need a haircut they also do beard trims, fades and the like.
Best barbershop hands down. Luis has been cutting my son and husband's hair for a very long time and and always keeps them looking fresh and we're never disappointed. There is always good vibes when we're in there and they make you feel like family. Any chance I get i recommend luis' corner barbershop to everyone, I think that everyone should experience the laid back old school barbershop scene.
Chris never disappoints. My son can never sit still and some how his haircuts come out clean. Always getting compliments. Chris is very patient and takes his time. Everyone makes me feel so welcomed when I bring my boys in and are so personable. Definitely recommend.
Got my haircut there today as a walk-in. One of the worst haircuts I've ever had. Looked in the mirror and it looked okay from the front. After I left I put my hands in my hair it's all different links on top not tapered in well. I didn't have time to go back so I came home and took the clippers to it myself.
Why not go to a place where you can sit in any chair and get a great hair cut?
Chris has been my primary barber for a few years now and I’ve never gotten the runaround.
Prompt, professional and always clean and entertaining conversations is what you’ll get here. THIS IS MY CORNER BARBER SHOP! Come see Luis, Sam or Chris. You will not be disappointed.
