Lumpia House #2 reviews
15Awesome place favorite of Pandit bichon sometimes is hit and miss. Sometimes perfect noodles sometimes mushy and short length. Also have seen difference in beef lumpia. Like they were store bought when I mentioned it to waitress she said yea they were but just because they ran out night before and owner from Flour Bluff didnt have any ready to start. Such a disappointment their homemade ones are so good. Been customer 14yrs +. From Flour Bluff location to here. So glad their closer and the chicken Adobo yes sooo good. Better than MaMasietas.
First time trying this restaurant. It was recommended by my cousin, who lives in CC. Everything was very tasty. The service was great.
I ordered vegetarian Pancit, it was so good, I did not really miss the meat. I also got the pork Shanghai Lumpia. It is my favorite. My husband ordered fried fish, and it had no bones that he found. He said it was very good. The server was very busy, but my water did eventually get refilled. There is really no atmosphere here, it is about the food, as it should be. Prepare to split, or have take home.
Prices are fair considering the portions. Quality is decent. Atmosphere is good & staff is professional & welcoming.
Went to this location after the other was closed two days in a row. I liked the inside of the restaurant, and the table service was good.
The lumpia was not up to par. They were very greasy likely due to the cooking temp.
Overall Food was good but fried rice had Soy Sauce. I hate Soy Sauce. There was also a mix up with the Vegetable Lumbia and it had small amounts of meat. The order was fixed, but had to wait. They were very busy with to go orders, but the Ladies were very nice and attentive. We will definitely give it another try.
My family loves everything we get from Lumpia House #2 every single time we order. We have tried so many of their dishes and all are delicious with large portions. We enjoy everything, but our faves are the pork Adobo, pancit bihon and Shanghai lumpia.
Just love their food. Always very hot and delicious. Customer service is amazing. Our go to is their veggie, pork, and beef Lumpia. Also their sweet and sour chicken.
I am so displeased with this place it has always been wonderful until now. I drove to 15 minutes to get this food and I’ve NEVER had watered down beef broccoli not to mention I added shrimp for an additional 4 dollars there was no flavor and it is literally like water even dumping all the rice in I called and spoke with who they said was the owner and he tried to say my food had condensation and that’s why it was like that but I went to pick up before they even told me my order was ready and he said I waited to long and laughed at me and told me I was wrong I’ve worked in customer service and I would never talk to a customer like he did me and then when I asked his name and who he was again he said I’m the manager and I told him I want to speak with the owner and that I will be bringing this in tomorrow he didn’t even offer me a new plate upon return of this one just said okay I’ll be here very unprofessional!
Didn't like the taste of my pork or my wife's beef. Also should have checked the bag both our rice was missing.
The food was AMAZING! The lunch special was only $10.00 and included a drink (tea). It was a large portion of food, and we ended up taking to-go boxes. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Get you some!
I recently had the opportunity to try Lumpia House #2 in Corpus Christi, Texas, and I was very impressed. I ordered the Shanghai Lumpia, and it was absolutely delicious. The filling was perfectly seasoned, and the wrappers were crispy and flaky. I also enjoyed the generous portion size.
The service at Lumpia House #2 was also excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure that my order was correct. I ordered my food to go but the place was very clean and inviting. I would definitely recommend Lumpia House #2 to anyone looking for authentic Filipino cuisine.
If I could leave no stars I would, we went on our lunch break from 11: 50 to 1: 00 and the older lady probably the owner was taking orders over the phone rather than ours. Took 10 min to get a menu and another 5 min to get our drinks, we’re back at work and had to cancel our order because our lunch break was over. Before we left the cook said it was no where near done.
Horrible service! And wait times are long and not friendly for a lunch hour! Our server took forever to greet the table or get a drink order she looked like she could not handle the job and her coworker was not friendly or want to be bothered to help her coworker we waited over a hour for food and still was not ready I would not recommend this place at all and don’t try to come on your lunch break! Place needs a change in service and speed of service and needs to happen fast!
