Lupe Tortilla, Houston TX

People say. Go to lupe tortilla, it is awesome. Oh contrare. Staff was slow, food was extremely over priced for what we ordered. Very average quality. 26$ for a tough peace of meat. No guacamole, or Pico. Rice and beans tasted horrible. I'm a clean you plate kind of guy and will eat most anything, but left over half the food. Go hit a local mom and pop.

Service was top notch. Food was very flavorful. This was my first time and I will definitely be back

Good food just way toooooooo much money for my budget. Since I don't work right now and my wife doesn't make much either.

We had my daughter's graduation lunch/dinner here and the staff was amazing. The food was delicious as well.

We went to eat at this restaurant last night and our service was horrible. Judith our server seemed not to care about anything. The host were nowhere to be found when we arrived we waited ten minutes for someone to greet us and no one ever came. My coworker had to go to the bar to ask someone to help us. We got sat at 8 pm and our server took some time to come greet us. We ordered drinks (water, coke, and some alcholic drinks) it took her ten minutes to bring out coke and water for the table. She never brought the alcholic drinks when we asked her for them after 25 minutes of waiting she told us she had dropped them and the bar was remaking them. We waited another 20 minutes for her to bring the alcholic drinks. We got tired of waiting so we went to the bar to ask what was going on the bartender informed us that the server had never rerung the drinks. She finally brought the drinks out but she never refilled the other drinks on the table. She never prebussed our table and my coworker had to keep handing her plates to take off the table. When the food finally came after an hour of waiting several plates were brought out wrong and some looked like they had just been slapped together. The rest of our party had to wait another 20 minutes to get their corrected food orders. The manager came by to talk to us and he seemed to not care about the service that had been provided to us by judith. Judith barely stopped by the table to check on us despite being the only table she had sat. It was a table of grown ups no children and we had some very simple orders and the fact that management did not seem to care about or trouble shocked us. I for one will not be going to this location again. Judith and management treated us horribly! We arrived at 8pm and didnt leave until after 10 thru no fault of our own!

I went to this location last night to have dinner with coworkers and do a gift exchange! First when we go there there was no host out front I had to go to the bar to ask someone to help us. We got sat and our server didn’t come greet us for at least five minutes. Judith took our drink orders and took another ten minute to bring them out. We ordered alcoholic drinks and those came out 45 minutes after they were ordered. Judith told us she accidentally spilled the drinks and the bar was remaking them. When we finally got tired of waiting for the drinks we went to the bar to ask about the drinks. The bartender informed us that Judith our server never reordered the drinks it then took her another 10 minutes to bring those drinks out! She never refilled other drinks on the table and when she finally did our food was on its way out. Which also took forever to come out when it came out one plate was messed up they had to send it back. The manager or chef I’m not sure which one came to speak to us and we explained what had been happening. All he did was apologize. He didn’t seem to care that we were upset with our server Judith. All in all our experience with the restaurant and our server was horrible! I would not recommend eating here. We got sat at 8 and didn’t make it out of there until well pass 10. We were the only table Judith had which makes her horrible service even more upsetting! I will not be stepping foot into this restaurant again

Place was empty. Waiter was odd. Fajita meat was burnt and super dry. Other locations are good but not this one

It had been a long time since I visited this restaurant and I now remember why. The service was absolutely horrible. If you decide to go there, make sure that Theo is not your server. I hate to be "that guy" but there is nothing worse than being placed in group (stereotyped) by wait staff because of their race. It began with Theo not coming to our table to introduce himself or get drink orders as he went to tables around us asking if they were ok. It took three trips before he decided to say anything to us. The restaurant was not packed by no means so for him to provide the lackadaisical service that he did was horrible. His attentiveness to my family was unsatisfactory and uncalled for. He put in our order wrong, didn't bring drinks or chips and kept his concern towards the Hispanic and Caucasian people in the restaurant. We brought his shortcomings to the attention of the manager (David) and he took care of us afterwards. Good customer service is paramount in any situation and having to react to the bad shouldn't be part of any dining experience. The food and the margaritas we're pretty good but I'm sure we won't go back.

Food was good, had cold enchiladas but the manager took it back, made a new one and comped it. Made it right in my book. 0

The food was good, but the service wasn't the best. At a private party many complained of the waitress picking up plates before people were done enjoying the food and it was a hassle just to get refills.

I took my class their for their graduation part. I made reservations for 11 ahead of time. Tables were ready as scheduled. Service was outstanding as was the food. Good portions and pricing was right on point.

Delicious! Got a virgin piña colada and the creamed spinach drenched chicken. 10/10 would recommend.

Ordered delivery on Favor. Completely screwed it up. Then told us Oh Well come and exchange. Carne asada cooked so rare it was not eatable.

I’ll start by saying I’m a Lupe fan! Service was great as always. Water never ran dry (and I drinks lots of water). Our waitress was friendly and personable and as always the food was magnificent. First time here for lunch.

This location, has always been a great experience. I especially love the specialty entrees during Hatch Chili season!

Fantastic food and people. Huge patio with fire pits for a great atmosphere! Try the beef fajitas that they’re famous for. I heard this coming weekend this location is starting all you can eat fajitas. What a great deal! Excited to go and experience the all you can eat experience!

Really authentic enchiladas. Rita’s a little pricey. Amazing chips and salsa. Kids love playground

Awesome Mexican Food, tamales are the best in Texas. Large bar and great place for parties or just dining alone.
