Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant, Round Rock TX

Great food, good atmosphere, good people. This is the only Mexican Food Restaurant that serves hot beans & salsa with the chips.

I’m not in North Round Rock often, but when I am, this is the place to go! Happy hour is from 3: 00-6: 30 with a full bar and very attentive bartenders. This food is delicious, and the service is quick. Their bean dip that comes with their chips is amazing! Kids get a free ice cream! Go early for dinner on weekends, or you’ll be waiting a while.

It was our first time here after pictures with Santa at Bass Pro Shops. They were a little busy for a Sunday afternoon, but overall, Good food, Good service. Thank you Sarah!

It's hard to miss with the beef fajitas here. The service could be better. Went there for Veterans day so was a little busy but not ridiculous.

The tortillas are amazing, corn or flour. My wife is gluten free, and she raves about the corn tortillas.

For being a Tex-Mex restaurant it’s good. The staff is always friendly. The only bad thing I literally can say about this place is that they play Salsa music and it’s super annoying.

Went to this restaurant in November. 2023. Service was a little slow, although the food was really good. The restaurant was fairly busy at the time and we had a party of seven. I think the weight staff was a little bit overworked because I had a hard time flagging them down for any additional service. Also the food was slow to come out but when it came it was delicious.

Very overpriced menu. Ordered fish tacos 2 tacos $20. Ordered chicken fajitas very salty. Cold meal.

What a great place! Very courteous and friendly staff. A waiter (Evan) who was very attentive, efficient, and courteous. The food and drinks were delicious. It was definitely a 5 star evening.

Music is loud and fast! Salsa, merengue style music which is fine at a club but for lunch it can be a bit much. We walked in after 1pm and waited over 45 minutes for a two top. We were seated far back at a small table. Jovanta was our server, he introduced himself once he realized we were sat in his section. Once we got chips and drinks we hardly had any space for our entree’s to fit on the table! I asked if the lemonade was freshly squeezed, he brought out a hot pink drink. Lemons are not pink. It tasted like watered-down powder lemonade
Waited another 10 minutes for a straw

20 minutes after we placed our order, server returned to tell us they had no pancakes? As my mom decided what to replace as her entree, the server was walking away already… completely disrespectful! Pet peeve is asking what you need as they walk away.

Braised beef in my enchiladas tasted off. Not fresh food. The queso was not bad. What threw me over the edge, was when we got our bill of $60 for 2 people, our server says “just stack those plates for me and I’ll be back” excuse me sir? Should I step in the back and wash dishes also! I’m a paying customer. NEVER again. Jamás vendré aquí. Horrible.

Really the only reason I would return is because of Michael the Host. He was awesome. Otherwise it took almost two hours from entering to get our food. Food tasted good, but after the long wait we ate so many chips. Bloody Mary's also need some work. You could tell two different people made them so not uniform in taste at all. We also rarely saw our server.

This place had really went down hill over the last few years. Some new dude named Tony has really flipped this place around and has the place jumping again. No more long drives to Cedar Park for good service and food. Lets hope it stays this way now!

If you get a chance to try the beef fajitas it will change your world. Also try the Pollo Espinacas because it's delicious.

Arrived at the Round Rock location about 130 and seated ourselves at the bar. One of the bartenders turn her back on us and wouldn’t wait on us throughout the whole experience. She waited on people that arrived approximately five minutes after us. And even after looking at my wife’s glass of wine, being empty, did not acknowledge that we were even there. Thank God for the bartender, came from the other end of the bar and waited on us. They also kept opening the door to the patio, freezing out most of us at the bar even after customers close the door several times, they kept re-opening and placing a doorstop to keep it open. I have been eating there a long time, but will probably not return to this location. Very disappointed in what used to be a great restaurant.

Great three pepper steak! Was cooked and seasoned perfectly with great spice from the peppers. We will definitely be back.

Food took over an 1hr to get us and were not provided with any updates about our long wait until we asked about it. Also it was not very busy at all

Good homemade Mexican cuisine. They have an extensive menu, and everything I've tried has been great. Definitely get the fresh guacamole! It can get really busy, but the wait times are minimal. You may have to park across the street, but it's not a problem.

Poorly managed. Used to go here once a week but it's gone down hill. Issues being seated and getting food out in a reasonable amount of time. An hour to be seated with an additional hour to be served
in a restraunt at 25%-50% capacity isn't acceptable.
