My husband, (Dr. Luna’s patient), and I LOVE Dr. Maria Luna. She is not only friendly, and kind, and full of empathy for my husband, who struggles with chronic kidney disease, she is also thorough, and methodical in reviewing his meds, his unique medical needs, and his general well-being. She never appears rushed, and is always gracious. She takes the time to treat the whole person, and we appreciate her so very much!

I have been a patient of the Kidney Disease clinic for 20+ years. First under Dr. Claudia Hura, n today with Dr. Maria G. Luna, both excellent nephrologists. Thanks to their wonderful care I have suffered no setbacks or complications after my kidney transplant in September of 2000. I am very grateful.
Dr. Luna along with the other doctors at the San Antonio kidney center helped me conquer my diabetic kidney disease, she helped me through dialysis, and helped me get on a kidney transplant list, in August of 2017 I received a kidney pancreas transplant and my health went from very poor to outstanding with her help, she saved my life I would give her a billion star rating if I could
