Lupita's Tacos, Freeport TX

Stop what you're doing and come here for breakfast. The food here is amazing and all homemade. The dining experience here is reminiscent of eating at grandma's on a Sunday. We tried quite a few different menu options and everything was delicious. I do wish it was more of the sit-and-order restaurant rather than ordering at the counter but it's not a deal breaker at all. Lupita's is what you look for in a family-owned authentic restaurant dining experience

We didn’t know what we wanted when skew got there so the lady behind the counter suggested their tacos, “They’re really big, and the tortillas are homemade”. They were definitely big! We each got the pollo loco taco and it was great! Good prices too. Highly recommend!

Just had two breakfast tacos (huevos la mexicana and steak a la mexicana) and just wanted to say they were AMAZING (and alsp HUGE!)! Will DEFINITELY be back when back to the shore.

Another great find you can't miss this place! Yummy! Will visit again!

Definitely not how I remember it. Ordered a taco de barbacoa, the most greasiest taco I’ve ever had. After taking out the fat, and staring at it for a min I decided not to eat it. I would not recommend the barbacoa. I also ordered a menudo, not the worst, but again not to my likings. However, I will say my bf tried it and liked it. I’d give menudo 5/10, my bf 8/10. Bf ordered huevos ranchos, 5/10. Aguas 0/10, Tortillas 10/10 though.

This is the best to me. Always clean and excellent staff. The FOOD is very good and that sauce is to die for. I order a small or large cup of it every time I go. I drive from Lake Jackson passing several restaurants with the same type of food just to come get the best. Oh and did I mention that SAUCE

Loved this place! My husband and i went here during our stay in freeport to get some breakfast burritos and it was amazing. Also had coffee, the salsa (red and green) were also good. Will definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu. The beef in the burrito reminds me of the filipino tapa. Really good! Very friendly and nice staff.

Wow and wow! Eat the HUGE Hippo taco yesterday. It was fantastic! The migas plate which was also fabulous! We ate at the restaurant at 6am and the restaurant for pick up was busy. Our food was made to work and amazing! We will be back.

Horrible service! Do not go here! Save your time and money. Food was stale and old and when asked to take it off the ticket because we didn't want to eat old food, they told us since we ordered it we had to pay for it (even though we didn't take more than 2 bites. Paid 65$ just to drink water and 2 cokes and like 2 chips due to the rest of the food being inedible. Will never return and send caution to anyone thinking of stopping here. Beware!

We’re visiting from Kentucky and have ate here everyday since we arrived in Surfside. We don’t eat meat, but they modified for us. If we ever make our way back, we’ll definitely eat here again!

Known this family for 15-20 years and their tacos are out of this world.thank you Jacob and your family for making the best for are community with good tacos.

A freeport staple going back to the early 90's, the food has always been awesome and so the service too. The dishes come in good size portion. You will leave satisfied

Always the Best! Hippos are Amazing but so are all their plates. Dont forget to drink a mexican coke.
