LUX: a tanning spa, Dallas TX

I love this place. Everyone is always friendly and the drink and towel go a long way in terms of customer service. I’ve been to salons in every major city in the country and this is one of the best! Always clean too.

I love it here, if it were any more fun it would be a bar! Brian and the rest of the team make sure everything is clean and everyone feels welcome and safe. The champagne is a nice bonus, to! All the beds are new and they definitely pride themselves on doing a great job 10/10

Lux (ury) is the keyword. You're offered champagne or soda water every time you visit, which is a fancy feature I appreciate but I don't really make use of. But the thing I really love is the fact that they offer to put your tanning lotion (goggles etc) in a pullstring black bag and store them away in a cabinet for you so you don't have to lug them around everywhere. There's been so many times I've forgotten my lotions, or they've melted away in the backseat of my car. And not so important for some but their employees are fresh, clean, and attractive. They're all very friendly and knowledgeable enough to get the job done (though some science knowledge would be cool, like how the difference in laser wavelength affects the skin and how different ones penetrate further than others. Stuff like that) But they know their equipment and they know their products decently well too. I don't write reviews normally, but felt like this was a good one to do. I like this place a lot.

Collin is helpful. Best beds around the area for about the same price. I also recommend the Dallas Self Storage down the street on maple. Very solid storage facility.

I came in and a woman named Melanie was so helpful, she showed me all kinds of extra things I could do that I did not previously know.she was so sweet and i hope she's there next time I go.not to mention she helped me pick the perfect spray tan color for me.highly recommended!

Nothing but 5-Star Service, from the time you walk into this sun-oasis. From the staff, the chilled hibiscus towels (scents change), and more importantly a chilled Glass of Champagne or Perrier. The German engineered beds are phenomenal, and the lamp bulbs have recently been replaced. The Versa spray-tan is state of the art, and is the best I've seen anywhere.
As your attorney, I highly recommend this place.

Patrick, Joy, and Melanie, are AMAZING! I've lived in a handful of different states in some of the largest cities in America and this is the NICEST, CLEANEST, FRIENDLIEST, salons I've ever been to. They have the most up-to-date machines and complimentary champagne and Perrier. What more could a girl need.

Staff is super nice. I loved going there, they offer water and champagne and a eucalyptus towel it is all great.

Ask for Joy. She will take amazing care of all your tanning needs! Pretty good beds (sun angel, open sun, vibra shape as well as others) as well as spray tans!

Patrick was kind and super knowledgeable. I had no clue what kind of service to get and he guided me through it from start to finish. If you’re looking to try out LUX, ask for Patrick. He’s AMAZING and definitely helped me feel comfortable!

Great staff. Although you may be hesitant to take their suggestions, just listen to them. Their recommendations have gotten me dark (without burning!) quicker than any place I’ve gone before.

High-end tanning salon without the high-end price. Staff is excellent and knowledgeable. Every visit starts with an offer of sparkling water or sparkling wine. Fresh eucalyptus scented towels finish off your session.

Oh my gosh. I was so nervous about this place being to boujee for me. Their prices aren't listed on the website and so in my mind that immediately means i cant afford it. Well I was wrong. I just wanted to get a spray tan in January (not something I normally do) but it was a girls trip and i was nervous and i had looked at a million other places. BUT THIS PLACE. So awesome. I just want to be able to feel confident when i need to and their package is the perfect opportunity. TOTALLY recommend.

ALSO** I saw previous reviews about staff not offering champagne. GIRL/GIRL. Use your voice. Some people are regulars and dont need Champagne. But if it is your first time there OR you just need assistance, I am confident that this staff will take care of you.

Every one of the staff members here are absolutely phenomenal! They are outgoing, fun, educated and just such a warm surprise to be around! I truly enjoy coming in to this salon for the customer service, the products and the tanning beds which are always in excellent working condition! I can honestly say I WILL NEVER TAN anywhere else in the DFW area! They are the best of their trade and you can't miss this experience! Go tan with them today! P. I was apprehensive at first thinking LUX would be pretentious. It wasn't. Ephren answered all of my questions when I called and set me up when I arrived. Excellent customer service. I found a membership that is comparable in price to B-TAN (closed). The value is incredible! They offered cold Perrier and a cold eucalyptus towel at the door. The place is clean and modern. Beautiful actually. Their beds have a sensor that checks your skin sensitivity before tanning, and if you burn like I do, it's reason in itself to go. The best part is after the bed shut off it went completely cold! Productive, relaxing and unpretentious experience. I highly recommend.

Nothing short of amazing! We were referred by a close friend who had great things to say so I went in with high expectations and Thomas didn’t disappoint! Super informative, incredibly friendly and champagne to boot! Would definitely recommend LUX and Thomas!
