Ly's Kitchen reviews
9 Love this place. Went in weekday around 8: 30 PM. Place was pretty empty but food was delicious their beaf pho and rib eye steak was really good.
Definitely recommend and will go again
Why does everything taste like onions. It’s overwhelming. My stars are for the steak but the Chinese food needs major improvement.
Excellent place to enjoy Halal Korean food and Steak! Thoroughly enjoyed every single dish we ordered.
We ordered vegetable fried rice, spicy Korean beef, and chicken noodles. Everything was good!
Firstly SO grateful that we finally have a good halal Chinese spot and that too in Katy! The place was FULLY packed! I mention that for all these new businesses staying stuck in sugar land (Side eye).
We ordered the Thai chili wings, lo main, spicy Korean chicken, h-style chicken, steak fried rice, chicken stiry fry with scallions, and beef stir fry with scallions. Loved every single item. They are still in the phase of soft opening, therefore, they don’t have all the traditional Chinese items yet but they said they’ll have them all soon. We also loved the meat to vegetable ratio in the entrees, portion sizes, and how the entire entree wasn’t just all “gravy” compared to other halal Chinese restaurants we’ve been to. They also have a wide variety of boba teas but we just didn’t want to ruin our appetite for food so didn’t order any. Definitely give it a try! I recommend reserving ahead since they were super busy, especially probably on weekends.
Great food and even better service. Place is huge to accommodate bigger parties. We got a variety of dishes including noodles, stir fry, bang mi, steak and rolls. Everything was delicious and the staff was very attentive. The only thing not halal on the menu are the dumplings and pho. (I was told they’re going to serve halal Pho soon)
The food here is actually so good! A great addition to the Houston Chinese scene. The service was also exceptional! Highly recommend to try on your next dinner out w the fam
Finally something closer to Cypress & that too awesome! I have gone here twice now and both times the service, the food, the ambiance was awesome. We did iftari there in Ramadan & everything on the menu was spot on. Chef Adnan took care of my family like his own. We then came again with my brother in law and they took had an amazing experience as well. All the Chinese dishes were different from each other with different spices, the soup was good. The waiters were really down to the earth and eager to provide service.
If i could give this place a 0 I would. Don’t fall for false positive reviews by any halal reviewers as they are clearly paid by the restaurant to post false reviews. This place is supposed to be a buffet but it’s nothing but literally empty chafing dishes lol. The worker said you can order the items off the buffet menu but that they didn’t have everything lmfao. You also cannot order the jalapeño chicken, or any a la carte item from jade ly like the halal reviewer said you could. Literally a joke of a restaurant. Save your time and money and go to jade ly, China king, or alings instead.
