MAA Shoal Creek, Bedford TX

Have been a resident at Shoal Creek for over a year now and have loved the property! The office and maintenance staff are always super friendly and attentive to any minor issues I've had. My apartment is top notch and I have zero complaints!

I enjoy living here so peaceful an close to all the places an business anyone could think of visiting. An the staff here and maintenance people are always very friendly and helpful.

Been here 2 yrs and plan to stay longer. Response to work orders have been quite timely cudos to Andrew Smith whom I presume is the new property manager, environment is clean, employees are courteous and crime rate is absolutely low.
Would very much recommend shoal creek apartment to any family looking for an apartment that's just like a home.

Very good experiences and layout of this place. The trail is the best part if you like walking or running and have dogs. Staffs is by war the best we have seen. Very understanding and friendly everytime I visit

The grounds are also kept nice. The maintenance staff is the best. The office staff are always there willing to help in any way possible. The rent could possibly be lowered. The reason is these are not updated apartments but still very nice. The location is perfect, so close to DFW airport, shopping, etc.

I must say I love my apartment. I will be moving out in September because it’s a bit expensive (but everything seems to be going up all over the world, except the wages). Overall they fix things in a timely manner and the office staff is awesome! They try to keep the property up really well. Neighbors for the most part mind their business and are respectful of others. I moved in 8/18/21 and moving out 9/17/2023. Had the rent been raised so high I would have stayed. I tried to pay on time all the time However was late a couple of times and they worked with me due to my situation. I moved in on a good note and plan to leave on a good note as well.

I really appreciate the speed in which maintenance issues are taken care of, the outstanding suggestion of movers to use to unload a large Pod, and choosing a garage for me that was in absolutely perfect position for my move. The leasing office/management folks are GREAT to work with!

I never lived here. They are posting fraudulent info on credit. Then keep putting it back on. MAA is a crooked horrible corporation of apartments. I have appealed to them with no help. Their own attorney said he told them not to do that. I was never late on rent one time in the years I lived in other apartments of theirs. And my apartment they told me looked like out of magizine as I am hyper vigilant in cleanliness and decorating. It has been 5 or 6 years that they keep posting fraudulent credit reports. I also was told by tenants union it is fraudulent. I was also asked to appear with tenants union and share my experience in front of Congress to STOP those kind of crooks from hurting good tenants. I still have not been able to rent due to their lies. It has caused multitude of problems. Do not rent from any MAA apartments. Not if you value your credit records.

Just want to take time to send a huge thanks to Mariah Morse for all her assistance and quick response in helping with an unforeseen matter, She was quick to get my documents updated and getting everything settled. Been on this property 3 years and she is by far the nicest and accommodating. Five star service.

The property is kept up really well and has great curb appeal. The maintenance is very prompt with work orders and do a great job of keeping up with property. The office staff is always so welcoming and kind. I recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking!

We stayed here for a year and that was enough for us. For the time and circumstance it was ideal. However as we settled in we just lost the welcoming vibe. One of our neighbors was constantly smoking weed called several people with little assistance. For us we just gave up and didn't care, but when it was at all hours when we got home to when we tried to sleep. It made us and our guest feel nauseated by the consistent smell. Our remedy was the take drives until they were done. We at that point had to call it quits. There also was some pet owners who would not pick up after their pets when they'd do their business. This made it smell horrid after it rained. Lastly, the gates. At times we weren't sure why they were there. As they remained opened for several days at a time until being fixed.

The best thing other than the view was the team in the office. They were great. Summer welcomed us and was very attentive during our stay and kept up with the maintenance of our apartment when it was needed. Then there was the location. Centered to everything made our stay very pleasant.

Would I move back? Only if I had to. There are other locations in my opinion that are very much favorable. But this location did what we needed. A little over priced but it was nice.

Have lived here for 8 years. A very well-kept community with good customer service. Maintenance work orders have always been addressed in a timely fashion. Staff is friendly and attentive especially Sommers.

Wonderful staff who have made sure that our time at Shoal Creek has been worry free and convenient! There are always there to assist us with any issue we run into and it’s always service with a smile! Sommers has been particularly amazing and always makes our day brighter when we stop by the front office!:) They have been spending time working on the grounds around the apartment buildings and it makes for a beautiful and scenic walk around the creek! So lovely!

You don't want to live here. And if you do, don't have any maintenance issues. It takes them weeks to respond, and even if they do respond, they might not take your issue seriously. Calling the front office accomplishes nothing. Live somewhere else. This isn't the place.

I have lived in this community for about 5 years in both complexes and they are almost always on point. They have the most attentive attendees and will most definitely go out of their way to make your living status safe and comfortable. I truly recommend this community as a living experience, honestly:)

The good: friendly staff and a clean and apparently safe community. Apartment is painted with good quality paint and in a warm and inviting hue instead of the cheap white paint that you come to expect in apartments.

The bad: several deficiencies were noted on move in, including missing screen on a window, bedroom door with a 4 inch dent in it that looks like someone punched it. Broken bathroom doorknob (that’s being addressed by maintenance) poorly batched over hole in a bathroom cabinet door and not one set of blinds was without damage. Outside of the doorknob nothing has been replaced or fixed.

The leasing agent Sommers was an extraordinary help with everything we needed! She kept us in the loop & made sure we got what we wanted! So happy she was the one to help us.

Absolutely love this property and Mariah was the leasing agent that assisted me with answering questions and a property tour. She did a fantastic job at answering my many questions and was warm and upbeat! Put in my application when I get home! Thank you so much! My experience was exceptional!

So very much appreciate Justin Walkers thoughtful consideration to all my requests and he’s ability to think outside the box! He’s not only kind to me but especially to all the seniors who live here as well.
