MAC Cosmetics reviews
8 I've been wearing MAC when it was first sold at Macy's in the Galleria Malll. Northpark store, there were three staff, the same one assisting myself and another customer.
White Guy was a bit hmm? I rturned due to service. White guy almost ran me over as I walked in store for return.
I went to Mac today my experience was very bad. I was not approached by any of the employees. I had to ask one. I needed a mixing medium. She had no idea what it was and was asking me, the customer, what it was! I asked another, Jasmin and she had no idea either!
I asked Jazmine for a dark orange lipstick. She showed me one. Later, I found another one and told her I liked it better, and she got mad and "Well, you asked for a matte. "
Jazmine rang me up and it rang up at $23.00. I noticed before I left the store that the shelf sign said $22.00. So I went back to Jazmine and told her, and she got mad and said go talk to
someone else, I believe her name is Camila, She has long black hair and that day wearing in braids.
I explained to her what happened and she said the prices were raised yesterday and they put stickers on the shelf with the new prices. She said that somebody must have taken off the stickers. I asked if she would honor the shelf price and she refused.
Later, I went to the MAC counter in Nordstroms and the man there was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was like night and day!
0 stars. Went in with my little sister to try lipsticks. Keep in my mind sister is 18 never wears makeup and is mixed African American and struggles with finding a good match for her skin tone.
Greeted the front desk lady who didn’t acknowledge either of us. She asked the two front desk associates if they could help her w finding an affordable lipstick. They rolled there eyes at each other laughed and said “affordable? ” They were appalled, mocked her question and reacted as if that was a rude and unheard of question to ask. The old bald associate man continued to not assist and when asked for help he said “I’m just really confused by what your question is, you want affordable? ”
Unfortunately we did not stay for long, even with the rude unwelcoming comments we still tried to find a lipstick on our own but couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable. My sister left crying but thankfully we want across to the MAC in Nordstrom and purchased what we were looking for. The makeup artist, a young man, was so sweet and apologized for our experience as that is not what MAC stands for and he unfortunately knew the exact associates we had our negative experience with. Which he informed us they haven’t heard pleasant things from customers about the store associates either.
To the store manager- please have a serious discussion with the two employees as their behavior was highly inappropriate and distasteful.
May, was an amazing person! She helped me find the lipstick shade I was looking for. Along with that, she helped me pick out a bronzer (which I have never use or know how to use before) and she even went above and beyond to demonstrate how to use the bronzer. She is the best! She's patience and kind. She knows her products and techniques. I would definitely come back!
MAC is and always will be thee only Cosmetics Store with beauty advisors who actually know the products and how to help.
I was looking for a few things for my best friend for her birthday. (For context I was looking for a blush and a lip gloss) A beautiful girl named Sydney helped me to find what I was looking for. I didn’t get the impression that she was trying to sell me something. I felt like she was trying to help me find what I was looking for. It was an amazing experience.
Joshua is the best. I learned so much. I can’t recommend this store enough for special events. Everyone who helped was friendly and kind. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Best customer service as soon as I walked in. The girl who greeted me (I didn’t get her name!) was so helpful and made me feel very welcome. The store manager, Josh, was absolutely great and kept checking in on me throughout my visit.
I recommend this location to any MAC lover! The only MAC location I visit when I’m in Dallas.:)
